I took a basic crochet class yesterday, learned to chain, single stitch, and stitch on the round. With those three skills, I was able to follow along to your tutorial and make myself a lumpy little kitty! It's nowhere near as good as yours, but I'm so excited. Thank you so much for this tutorial - it was perfect for a beginner. I don't really know how to read patterns yet, but I bought it just for a chance to throw you a little money for all your hard work. I followed you on IG and Ravelry and hopefully will figure out how to post a picture of the project shortly. Thank you again!!
Omg, you are so sweet!! Thank you for such an amazing and positive comment. This made my day! I appreciate it so much and I think lumpy kitties are plain adorable!! Thanks for connecting with me on social media too, would love to see your finished work there!!
Thank you! Love your patterns. I'm making quite a few of them. I gotta get some of that fluffy yarn though. Love the texture it makes and it looks so easy to work.
Such an adorable kitty! I just finished mine and he turned out adorable, after I add the little nose he will be even cuter! Thank you for a great tutorial. I'm going to make a ton of these now I love it 💙
Thank You so much for this tutorial! I made one with the body light green, and the the other parts with dark green (a green cat 😅) and it turned out so good! I made it in one day and I'm very happy that it's a no sew pattern!
Yes you can! Just use a suitable size hook (smaller one than what I'm using) to keep yoru stitches tight and without gaps. You'll end up with a smaller kitty!
Here's a link to the prototype (the same one I'm using in my video): tidd.ly/3RLV6Id ! I'm waiting for the final version to be made and released. It's not my product/creation but I'll share a link to it once it's ready!

I keep trying to make this, but I can never get past round 4-ish. It just stays flat no matter what I do. I'm using a 8 mm size yarn ( I hope I'm describing that right ), but normally that doesn't affect that. Any tips? I really want to make this adorable kitty!!
I'm not sure what's going on with your yarn but have you tried going past R4? If you keep going, it should start rounding out especially when you do the "sc around" rounds without any inc/dec.
Exciting news! Crochet kit available at: yarnsea.com/en/project/2148/pocket-kitty-cat
