Looks like Sluban is getting better and better. Just the 1st 2 minutes of building impressed me. COBI, LEGO and PANTASY are still my favorite bricks. Sluban is getting better tho.

Why does it feel like nobody except cobi can make proper gun mantlets? (Even though the quality of cobi‘s gun mantlets has gotten alot worse too in the last sets)

These T80’s are such underrated builds, especially the T80U not being a common MBT at all, love how sluban has made such an effort to make these models look identical to the real thing, first to make the russian carrousel ammo storage, and now a pilot seat, so amazing, I’m buying this and already got their T-72 m1 model.
They’re not very good tanks, there’re very good helicopters

Nice to see some improvement in a 3rd party brand. Treads work relatively well, and the design is quite good/detailed for the price/piece count. Still not a fan of seeing so many stickers, and no replacement parts means you have to decide entirely on one or the other unless the stickers are unapplied.

Are these the same scale as the Cobi Abrams? Been forever tryna find a T- something to go with mah Abrams. Anything I saw was out of stock.
Also, how in the holy hell do you get the side skirt pieces on? My Cobi Abrams literally doesnt have it's back half of the skirts on cuz I literally cannot get it to click on without the mounting lego pieces falling off. Its like, I can have the mounting pieces on, or i can have the side skirt on the mounting brick, but not both.

How do you solve the problem of the turret not rotating? I'm still having problem with mine (it's probably due to the ERA but I still can't get it to work/rotate 360°) 5:24
It takes a while until the whole ERA is in the right place. Always look from the side to see which piece is still hooking.

Leider bin ich enttäuscht und zwar massiv 🙈
Ich hab den neuen Sluban Panzer (& den Typhoon) gesehen und natürlich als Sluban Fan sofort bestellt. Alleine schon weil ich die Russen Panzer einfach klasse finde.
Optisch ist er auch super … würde Variante 1 bevorzugen.
ABER !!! normale Aufkleber … und dann noch mit Farbabweichung (sieht zumindest so aus) das ist wohl ein Scherz. Warum nicht 1,50 Euro mehr pro Panzer und dafür die tollen Transfer-Sticker ??? Die sind echt klasse von Sluban und sehen aus wie Drucke.
Überlege meine beiden Sets unbebaut direkt bei Kleinanzeigen einzustellen wenn sie da sind.
Sehr sehr schade ☹️

Panlos will make it so big. I would prefer 1:35 scale on my collection. On the other hand, would be great if Panlos make t80, my Panlos t90 need his older brother.

@@MilkTea101 T-72/T-80 are actually built really low, putting the ammunition carousel at the lowest place on the tank. Built like that to at least protect the tank. Most videos of T-72 and the other tanks have their turrets out because they're either hit by ATGM or a really strong landmines, just like any tanks (Abrams still included)

The T-80 is a tank developed in the USSR, and most of the modern T-80 is exactly the production of the USSR. And the yellow and black stripes, also known as the "St. George Ribbon", are the identification mark of the Russian army

Gonna have to correct you on the autoloaders causing the turret pops they certainly still cause them but they are not the main reason, the main reason are the spare ammo that are not in the autoloader but scattered around the hull this is a problem on some western tanks too which lack autoloaders like the leopard 2s and challenger 2s which also have spare ammo in the hull that are unprotected and examples of these tanks exploding violently exist like the leopard 2s of turkey and ukraine and challenger 2 of ukraine. The auto loaders on russian/soviet mbts are also protected by steel which result in protection against shrapnel and a direct hit is required to detonate the ammo in the auto loader which reduces the chances of detonation. In short the main reason of catastrophic detonation are the extra ammo stored else where in the hull not the ammo in the auto loader which is also a problem on some NATO tanks too that lack auto loaders like the leo snd chally.
