Great to see more modern gunships. While I think Cobi is overall better in design/quality I like the part usage/execution of the propeller blades and fixed landing gear used here than Cobi's brick built approach. Most notably on last years Blackhawk release. Really neat how the KA 52 engineered the propellers to counter spin. Reminds me of the Lego Ultra Copter only on a slightly smaller scale with less engineering to accomplish basically the same thing.

Can confirm the parts quality is on point, I got the KA-52 and it's a great model and for the price of around 22€ an amazing deal for how accurate it is :)

Top and bottom blades ond the Aligator should be pointing in opposite directions; they spin in opposite directions.

I built the Mi-24 and it took me 4 hours , this guy olny took 7 minutes, but I do love it !
Did you know that the Ka-50 and 52 have ejection seats, the rotors blow off and the seats leave the Helicopter
The hind helicopter was known to be the most feared to western countries. Until the US snuck one out of Africa, underneath the nose of Gadafi, to study the hind helicopter. It was known as the hind heist, interesting story mark felton told.

@@Dr.KarlowTheOctoling yes there is pictures of the Chinook carrying the Hind helicopter. Along with one showing US troops getting it into a transport plane too. Mark Felton made a video about it, i recommend it.

sluban definitly gets better at buildingskills but sometimes parts need to be more stable

I see a lot of my techniques used in this Mi-24 moc from my Z-10ME and Pucara mocs. I would have made the rotor blades longer for the Mi-24. The real Mi-24 "wing" also has a curve that nobody ever gets right. The wings side facing backward is almost vertically angled down. I made some good pictures in a museum of that part, as its never photographed from that angle.
I like that Sluban went with the "Katran" version of the K-52. The rotor solution looks good, but shaping wise the Ka-52 is not that good. The Mi-24 is much more shape accurate.
the Mi24 is my fav Soviet helicopter coz owned i was growing up I played the living daylights out of the Metal Gear Solid in the ps 1 the Hind D was my favourite mini boss enemy to be up against always hovering out of sight and jumpscaring you with the rocket barrages and then the gun strafing when you had to descend the rope only to go back up the other side via a staircase then battle it

Ich weiß auch nicht, warum Sluban bei den neuen Sets wieder zu den alten Papierstickern gewechselt hat. Die anderen sahen wenigstens aus wie ein Aufdruck und da hat keine falsche Farbe oder transparente Folie übergestanden

Just build the Sluban Mi24, great bricks. Easy build, they separated the bricks plastic by numbers, which is informed in instruction which brick plastic number to use.
Just wondering, how to fold the rear under carriage (wheels) to flying position?

What are the dimensions of the Hind. What i seen online say its 1/30 scale. That should put it at about 22 inches/ 55.88 centimeters long.
