Yo! Did they help the car grounding out/rubbing? I got a 71 Nova with 18’s in back and 17’s in front and tires grounding out on bumpy roads, especially with a passenger
*Maybe I’m just too “old school” but to me it’s just blasphemous to put anything bigger than an 18” on a G-Body, especially when dudes start cuttin up the frames and all that! Especially when it’s gettin harder and harder every day to find a nice solid, unmolested G-body! The thing that always made these cars popular was the way they ride when they are stock, I’ve been in a few with 20s, 22s, 24s and it feels like you’re strapped to a cinder block goin down the road! Be careful with those air shocks, the purpose of a shock or strut is to keep your tires in contact with the road, not to change the ride height of the car, that’s what the coil springs do. You’d probably be better off trying to find a taller and stiffer spring*
My car came with lowering springs …I just bought the regular springs n it sat back to normal . Next month I’m going coil-overs though to get the height I really desire
*I realized that in the 90s and I wasn’t even trying to use them to make clearance for enormous wheels! I’m amazed at how many people think that it’s the shocks that are responsible for the ride height of a car/truck! Ride height is controlled by the springs, shocks/struts are there to keep your tires planted to the road as you drive! That’s why you see (or can feel with your hand) tires with a “choppy” pattern worn into the tread on cars, that’s a sign of worn shocks/struts and that your tires are not staying planted firmly to the road as your driving!*

Those shocks were for a car or truck with leaf springs.
air shocks are the worst thing you can do.
