Both methods are great options and can outlive the life of a garment! I think the transfer paper only comes in white, but you can still print in white ink on that.

Depending on the style of hat, you may be able to. You will just want to make sure the surface is flat and that you are able to heat press it without the bill getting in the way.

@@pigskinsandpigtails after hearing up the transfer, is there anyway to possibly pressure adhere the print rather than with a heat press? I want to do this with paper tubes and I am not sure I can use heat!
Not me now realizing I can do this for my sizing labels for t shirts instead of spending $120+ for transfers!! You are the queen of “do it yourself”

I just realized I might be able to do this process with a rubber stamp. I thought of it because the process kind of reminds me of embossing powder

What about if you want to print on the side of the hat

How do you wash screens with plastisol ink? Is it not supposed to go down the drain?

Is this like the DTF hack but with plastisol ink instead of sublimation ink?
It’s similar to DTF but more economical and something you can DIY without a printer. This does require plastisol ink though!
