I love my Victory Vision. A couple of takeaways from your video... Bulletproof and a Monster. Couldn't agree more.

Ugly?! No way! One of the coolest looking bikes out there, and it's not trying to look like every other bagger out there. I'm planning on getting my hands on one this year, hopefully one fo the orange ones.

Still have my 2011 vision I purchased new. Oil and tires is all I ever needed. 11 years old and enjoy it just as much as when it was new.

@@3_AM I’ve just inherited a orange vision and Red Cross country, both from my dad. 210k on the vision and 75k on the cross country. Nothing but oil changes on either. The vision has cams and makes 121/121ft lb!

Thanks for the information. I own a 2010 Vision Tour Premium. It only has 15,500 miles on it of which I put 4500 on this year. I have been considering the Lloydz cam and tune to do what you have done. I love the bike and plan to keep it as long as I can ride it. It pays to do this. Again thanks for your time and input.

As all Vision owners know, the stock radio is ass. But there is a way to improve the quality of your tunes, if you're using an Apple device.
Diving into the iTunes software, you'll find that you can increase the volume of your music files as much as 100%. It won't actually double the output volume, but the increase will be noticeable. You can also apply various EQ settings to the tracks. Where this is concerned, you'll have to trust your ears as to what sounds best because you can't necessarily go by the EQ names in iTunes. You might be applying EQ to Rock music, but it might be that the 'Jazz' or 'Pop' or some other EQ setting sounds better than the 'Rock' setting.
These adjustments can be applied to each individual track or multiple tracks. Making these adjustments, along with the bass/treble controls on the Victory headset will result in a noticeable improvement in the volume and tone of the music when using an Apple device.
It won't be like installing a new fire-breathing audio system, but you might be pleased with the results.

@@3_AM Thank you for doing this video and keeping the flame alive. I'm on my third Vision and a member in good standing of the cult that believes they are one of the greatest scoots ever made. Also thanks for demonstrating how to properly ride one. I used to work the factory demos at Arlen Ness Motorcycles and would hear over and over again from H-D riders how gutless Vics were. Once it was explained to them that 1800 RPM was an unacceptable shift point and that the Freedom 106 was born to rev, they tried it again and came away with a greater appreciation for what that motor can do.

To me this Vision was one of the most beautiful design motorcycles that was ever produced in the touring segments I wish this company had not gone out of business I would love to own this particular motorcycle possibly in the future have quite a few bikes right now don't have the room but if I could find it an example best super clean and low mileage I would buy one

Yes I agree just imagine what a bike it would be if they were still making it in 2024 with the 108 from the Indian challenger. 👌🔥💨 Thanks for watching! #tillthewheelsfalloff

Darn I miss my Vision Lloydz hooked me up too. 122Hp. I had it retuned at Rob’s Dyno via ecu, removed the PCV.
Bike was smoother with the flash tube.

I’ll never sell mines! Looks good! This video convinces me that cams and tune are worth the expense.
One thing i was wondering, I thought there were no real upgrades for the radio… What type of stereo upgrade is that?

    • @I_am_archie
      @I_am_archie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I'm wondering that also about the head unit on the audio. I have a 14 with all the lloydz goodies. Still want a Yamaha Venture trans continental tour. Or a roadmaster or a Challenger or a road glide ultra or a goldwing. Lol, but still I Can't sell the vision. I have a bike problem.

@@I_am_archie I hear you there! My brother just bought a challenger (needs Lloyd’s ECM Flash) - - a great bike with lots of power but, nowhere as comfortable and as good on wind management as the vision. If you got the room, keep ‘um and add to the collection.

Not sure if you still monitor this but….
My 2015 Vision is making a transmission noise. Just curious if it is the same as yours was making.
Under a load it sounds like gear chatter. Metallic rattling sound. Thought is was compensator but rebuilt that and noise still there.
