I love to have a small piece on the go that i can take in my bag. Sometimes they get added to bigger bits, but often not. Great idea to make a wall hanging
Jenny, could I just say that if you had a plain back of any colour and sew or glue the squares onto it with spacing in between like a quilt with sashing it would allow all the pieces to showcase themselves. It would look gorgeous on thick black artist card too. Nice video.
Hi Lynn thank you so much for your suggestion i have never done sashing so not sure what that is that lovely to as each little piece would showcase its self. That would save stitching each one together think black would really make then stand out. 😀
@@suesmith6679 Hi Sue thank you this is a great idea I was thinking the same thing as each having its own space. Rather then being stitched together. I will look into how I go about this I wondering if a large framed canvas would work ? 😃
Just found and joined your channel. I love what you are doing with your little squares. That piece would look lovely in a frame on the wall. Will look forward to another one.
I really admire the stiching. It looks so pretty. I'd like to do that myself but I'm afraid I would run out of patience having to keep threading the needle over and over again. You are an extremely talented person.
Hello Jenny, I'm new to your channel. I really love this idea of saving scrap pieces and using them this way. You have some very beautiful pieces, can you sew them by machine or just by hand?
Hello Jenny Not seen your channel but loved your video. Can you tell me where I am going wrong please. My squares all fray badly and when the square is finished it looks so untidy. How do i stop this happening Iam using cotton. Thank you x
Hi Jenny. Love your work. Tfs FYI....quite a few times you were out of camera shot and couldn't see what you were doing and stitching. Thanks for the ideas. Love the colours of fabric and embellishments. New subscriber from New Zealand 💐🙏💖
Have you been working in the garden prior to stitching? (That would explain the dirty nails) Love your little patchworks. It's so much fun using scraps and just start making whatever comes to mind. I've gotten addicted to making pretty things that way.

You could display them on a painted or plain canvas. You could stick them on with a space around each one to set them off. Lovely pieces.

You could use school stick glue to hold in place also. 🇨🇦
