- Sharing some of my stitched pieces which I have made looking for ideas on what to with them? Open to ideas. 💕💛💕
@crowfiresoulcrafting inspiration for the poppit dolls I mention.
I like the idea of using stiff plastic canvas to form an open box with the sides as big as each block of colored slow stitch & then attaching the 4 blocks of colored slow stitch to each side. It would be so fun to turn the side of the box each day to see a new side. Each slow stitch block u have made is so refreshing to look at.
Hi great idea as was thinking that the pieces need to strong to hold the shape thank you 😀
These are gorgeous. Not sure what I would do with them but I would display them for all to see
Thank you so much yes this seems to be a favorite😀
Each one is so beautiful, I would stitch them all together like a patch work quilt and hang it on the wall. The colors are so vibrant. It would cheer me up just by looking at it daily.
😊Thank you yes i feel they need to seen to and that's so lovely in cheering you up 😊
Agreed!
I'd do that as well.
Yes, I think they would be nice hanging on the wall. I go to a dentist who has quilts hanging on the wall in the waiting room and more quilts hanging in the hallways. It looks so nice and interesting to look at (those are just regular quilts too) imagine how nice your squares would look.
@@grandmajane2593 thank you that is a lovely idea i imagine it would be soothing as well for those nervous about Dentists 😀
I vote for the Japanese Rice Bag suggestion. Here’s one more idea: take a photo of each one and use the photos to make note cards (or postcards,) print them, and give sets of 6 to people as gifts.
Thank you love the postcard idea 😀
Your pieces are both beautiful and fun. Appreciate the share.
Hi thank you so much your welcome 😀
Those squares are so lovely and unique. They could be used to decorate almost anything, couch pillows, handbags, pockets on vests, etc., or you could put them all together to make a throw type of thing to put over the couch. Or you could frame a couple of them and make a wall hanging, like old time samplers.
Thank you,😀 thank you for your lovely ideas 😀
I think slow stitching looks beautiful displayed in shadow boxes. Your work is gorgeous!
Hi thank you so much 😀
If you are into journaling it makes great covers for it!!
Yes thank you 😀
I like the rice bag or soft sided box idea. You could store your stitching supplies in it.
Hello thank you i came across some soft boxes they look great 😀
I'm in love with everything you're doing!!!!
Hi thank you so much 😊
Hi again Jenny, greetings from OZ, this video just popped up & I re-watched & enjoyed it all over again 😍😍 I was actually going through my box of finished pieces yesterday & made one into a glasses case for my sister & a pouch for my granddaughter.....2 down, about 30 to go 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Wondering what you HAVE made with some of your pieces, I'll have to look & see xXxX Have fun 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😍😍
I love making fabric books. You could use the bigger piece as the cover if the smaller ones fit inside.
Hi yes they are so enjoyable to make, thank you yes will try that 😀
No need to do anything with them, they're works of art, keep them safe and admire 👌👍
Hi thank you 😊
The piece at 9:32! Wow! Stunning! So is the piece you show after it!
thank you so much 😀
I think a wall hanging with your one color themed pieces would be lovely! They would be nice in a journal book but they are so lovely that I don't think they should be hidden in a book but nicely displayed to be seen regularly. I think a wall hanging with just the four pieces, the pink, the purple, the blue and the green. Maybe with off white borders around the pieces to separate them from each other.
Put them together with wide lace separating the squares.
Journal Covers
Sweet work! I made a sewing/needle book. Added some pages, pin cushions, needle minder, place for my embroidery scissors etc.. & take to guild weekly stitching. ❤️ it. You could make little ‘pillows’ and fill a lil basket with them. I made one filled with balsam fir as a sachet. Could be made into little cosmetic bags, shoe bags, fine lingerie bags, travel laundry bag, fancy place mats, table runner… & definitely frame a few favorites with nice matting!
Thank you such an array of lovely ideas 😀
@@Sewbusydrawing super fun one. Draw out a lil stuffed critter doll pattern. Slow stitch that then put it together!
@@Sewbusydrawing eye glass cases? Easy to spot?
With all the beautiful pieces you’ve shown here, I think you could make a larger cover and incorporate all the bigger pieces into a book. I love all the heavy stitching and the bright colours and enjoy doing similar work myself. I’ve mounted three smaller pieces onto black felt with about an inch gap between them and they look great as a small wall hanging and yours would too. I’m so pleased I discovered your fabulous work.
Hi Maggie thank you so much i have seen your work to so so beautiful. I made scrappy balls to i think we may have commented on each others work in the past. That's a good idea with the black felt. Thank you so much 😀
Very happy to have found you, your work is lovely.
Owww! each square is sooooo beautiful, love your work...Ok ideas... 1. sew 4 squares together & make a cushion cover (Or buy a cheap plain cover & sew squares onto one side to make cushion cover) 2. Sew them altogether to make a beautiful throw for your bed how much pleasure you would get waking up to that every morning plus pleasure in making bed!! 3. Sew several squares together to make a stunning shopping bag... just think of all the comments you would get when using it 4. sew 2 squares together to make small pouch / bag using a button for a closure 5. Fabric boxes sooooo many beautiful things you could make so that you can get sooo much pleasure every time you use or look at them.....
Hi Lisa thank you so much for all your lovely ideas so many to choose could end up making them all 😃
Love how you made each in one color very nice!
Thank you nice to experiment with colours😀
G'day, your work is stunning, I love making journals, your work would look wonderful and unique as journal covers 💖💝 I've just subscribed to your channel. Take care 💌 keep safe, lov's from the land down under in the western suburbs of Melbourne Australia 🙃🐻
Hi thank you so much and thank you for your lovely comment 😀
I was thinking of a Japanese rice bag as well, or a little project bag.
You could use some of them in Japanese rice bags. Make them sturdy so they can stand on your craft table with things in them .
Love your work🙂
Thank you yes I have seen a lot those lately they are lovely so may have a go 😊
You make nice pieces. I especially like the color themed ones.
Thank you i like to experiment with colours 😀
My goodness these are so beautiful. I love that you have done some single colour pages. I agree, they should be seen and touched, a book seems to be a good idea. 😊❤
The two pieces around the 8:30 mark are especially lovely as well. You have so many pretty pieces that you've made.
thank you 😀
They are so pretty and beautifully stitched, would look lovely as a wall hanging or maybe a book of Colours. I'm not sure what a rice bag actually is but whatever you do with them I'm sure it will look lovely 🙂
thank you 😀
A needle book or houswif a roll to contain sewing notions
Hello thank you yes i have seen great idea 😀
I just found you and joined as a new subbie ... An indea I am using is to cover storage containers like jars, boxes, so everyone can see your work. Or like others have suggested a wall hanging. Your work is beautiful.
Hi Vanessa thank you ooh yes another great idea may have a go at that as another project. Think the wall hanging seems to be the most popular one thank you 😊
I think you should make a vest displaying all of them and show them off!
Hi thank you 😀
Beautiful. You’ve inspired me to attempt slow stitching.
Hi Leila thank you that's so lovely to hear its beginner friendly and lots of tutorials be lovely to see how you get on. 😊
I love them! I would want to be able to look at them all the time. So I like the idea of stich books or a wall hanging.
i think a wall hanging to 😀😀
Yes, I'd like to get my hands on them!!
@@grandmajane2593 😀
I would make a book, you know I love fabric books, but I understand that then you would be the only one to see it, so I think I would make a quilt, not for the bed, but to hang on the wall. All those beautiful pieces together would make a unique quilt 🩷💛💙💜♥️🤍🩵🤎💚🧡
Yes your books are so beautiful Alexandra
Yes i think so to as then everyone could see it
Sew them all together and do a large wall hanging
Thank you yes a great idea i can always make more😀
That’s what I was thinking! Make it like an improv quilt with a solid sashing between blocks
Attach each to a large piece to make a wall hanging 🇺🇸💜
Hi thank you so much
Absolutely beautiful.
😊Thank you so much😊
Hi Jenny, greetings from OZ 🇦🇺😎😍 Just subscribed to your channel & will be binge-watching your past vids 😊 Your pieces are so lovely, they definitely need to be on show 😊 I also have quite a few pieces too & need to display them in some way, glad I came across this vid 🤗 TFS
Hi Pauline hello to you to and welcome to my channel lovely to have you here and thank you for your comment enjoy ooh be lovely to see them 😀
Lots of videos on here to make boxes, 4 sides and a bottom pice stitched together.
Ive just started and got a few squares already.
Hi thank you yes been looking 😀
Lovely work. Project bags would be an idea.
Hi Jean thank you I do love bags a great idea 😊
slow stitch an extra flap and attach it to back cover edge so it will wrap around and fasten on front cover edge, and hold all your lovely stitching inside. Still put them in like pages to begin with.
Thank you a great idea 😀
Try extending your larger rectangle so that it does cover the color pages, then add them as you mentioned to be a color journal...
Thank you think i will make another cover for these pieces 😀
so beautiful!
Thank you 😊
These are beautiful.
Thank you 😊
Gorgeous work❤
Thank you 😊
Beautiful work. you could make needle books with them. I have just started making them and I had also made some samples like you did and didn't know what to do. Good luck.
Hi Donna thank you thats a good idea will look into making one 😊
Make a stunning journal cover
Thank you 😍
Wow, they are all beautiful pieces! What about making a calendar, either in the form of a wall hanging or quilt? Like the pink one would be good for February and the blue one for January?
Thank you Karen so much ooh yes thats a great idea 😊
Make square or round boxes with them and put them over vases and flowerpots.
Hi Daisy thank you yes i have started to create one of those 😊
Definitely a Journal cover. It looks fabulous 😂
A big floor pillow,or quilt
thank you lovely idea 😃
Oooo purple stunning
Thank you yes the purple is lovely
A book, they need to be touched!. Make your cover bigger to accommodate all the pages. Use a lace?
Hi Sue thank you I making more so could do both wall hanging and a book yes that's a good idea with the lace 😊
This is my foremost concern..what do you do with all of these things once they are created
Hi like that
Thanks for liking
You welcome
Szépek
Thank you 😀
Maybe plan in advance what you will do with the pieces, before making. That way you end up with the size and shape you need.
Hi Sue thank you I tend to go with flow and sometimes i just sew and create for the pure love of it. Other pieces i have made have been more planned as they need to be. 😊
Lindo el trabajo. Podrían poner los comentarios en español? Gracias.
Thank you😀
