    That is a super clean 06!!! The dash doesn't look that terrible. Ive seen way worse in 06's. I recently took mine out and wrapped it in a two tone alcantara wrap.. But my dash had deep cracks that had to be filled and sanded down before I could wrap it. But the J32 A3 R engine is a beast. Cams, pistons, rods, new 650cc injectors, 255lph pump, new timing belt with tensioner and deflection pulleys. After installing all these parts my acura feels like a brand new car. Ive already got the d2 coilovers with skunk 2 upper control arms and a 5 piece adjustable rear camber kit (which only set me back 400$ for both sides.) Aside from the interior the outside looks great. My car has 175k on the dash but the parts needed to upgrade the engine and suspension are pretty cheap when compared to my old Infiniti G35.

    I just bought a 2008 TL with 66,000 miles and I love it! Mine was actually a rebuilt title, I got photos of the damage and it was mainly totaled for how old it was. It still looks pretty good and I’m gonna make it a fun project to fix up! I love driving it more than many newer cars.

    Bro this looks nothing like a 17 year old car. This car was way ahead of its time

      Same bro! The design, the steering feel, the 3.2 VTEC V6, & features put this thing in a class of its own all those years ago. Still one of my favorite driving sedans ever made. Most people who have them refuse to let them go.

    That's a nice 3rd gen TL! The throttle response and torque is amazing considering it's all stock. I have a 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6mt and I'm keeping it for life!

      Not surprised you’re keeping it. I wouldn’t let that go either bro. Very rare in decent condition and highly desirable.

    I agree on the throttle response and I'm amazed how good the response is for a drive wire throttle...,, It's a drive by wire car I've gotta 06 TL and I've been lookin it over a bit because it needs some suspension work but yeah it's actually a drive by wire car, Nice Video!

    • @HKN_RealReviews
      @HKN_RealReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the clarification. The throttle is amazingly programmed to be electronic and not cable actuated.

I told my boy the 3rd gen TL is going to b what the 2nd Gen Legend is to the current old heads 😂. Its really a car for life especially if you get it ina 6speed or Type S version.

    I've got a 2016 RDX with the 3.5 liter V6 and 6-speed auto. Love the engine and sound! A hint of that muscle car sound growl which is hard to come by these days. The 6 speed suits the larger V6 just fine. It's also all wheel drive which definitely helps with traction as this too will light the tires with traction off. Like you said, immediate response! No turbo lag. It's basically a lifted TL with all the same luxury, etc. There will never be an engine like the classic Honda V6.

    Do you think this would be a good first car I really like the Acura tl and is reliable

    • @HKN_RealReviews
      @HKN_RealReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely!!!!! The trick will be finding one in good shape that you can get for a decent price. People that own these aren’t usually motivated sellers because they love the car. So you may have to cough up a little more cash than anticipated but it will 100% be worth it. Reliable, safe, great to drive, cheap to insure, low cost maintenance, all around win. Your biggest expense one one of these will almost always be the cracked dash. All these TL’s suffered from those cracked dash boards. Ask any owner and they will tell you they really don’t care about the dash. 😂

    • @HKN_RealReviews
      @HKN_RealReviews  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Rust is usually a deterrent for most. But depending on if the rust is on anything structural I might say pass on it. If it’s minor or on something like the exhaust or something easily replaced, I say grab it now. They are great cars especially when the engine and transmission are in good shape. Depending on how long you plan on keeping it and if the rust condition is critical, I’d take it on a thorough test drive and purchase it if everything checked out. Maybe mention the rust and see if they’ll knock another couple hundred off or something. Never hurts to ask.
