My theory is if White Diamond truly has mind powers, I could see her finding out that Steven is Pink Diamond and try to manipulate him into joining the Diamond Authority so he could take Pink's place and do an even better job. I can see Blue siding with Steven. But Yellow may be more of a wild card, and White will likely fight against this to the death. So it'll be a civil war.

I feel as if the animation would take way too long, setting the show back. If the movie fails, that's a massive waste of time as they could have made like 20 really good episodes with an ongoing plot instead of one failure. If thw movie succeeds it will really mess up the dynamic of the show.

I'm going through some pretty heavy life problems right now, and after watching "A Single Pale Rose" I couldn't even be bothered by those problems, the episode shook me that much! I'm shooketh!
I would love Steven as a diamond for a good portion of the series. Especially if he turned his gem around. I love when characters establish new goals for themselves, go through these sort of persona changes, adopt a slightly new method of doing things and get a new appearance to wrap it all together in a nice bow. I would also love if some townie episodes were then replaced with the lives of gems on homeworld. This is Steven's show and if he goes to homeworld and becomes a Diamond the show would have to follow. Featuring townie episodes of how everyone is doimg on Earth and how they are dealing with Steven's absence and seeing what the lives of gem's are and how they are being affected or what they think of getting this new unique Diamond. I would love Steven's interactions with the diamonds. With Yellow not really being ok with it and then warming up to Steven and Blue being kind of relieved and happy but sort of sticking with Yellow untill they can both accept it. Steven becoming a diamond might even contribute to our first glimpse at White Diamond. I would love it if she just went along with it out of curiosity and maybe had some bigger sort of villainous plan for Steven. Needless to say it would be an arc i would watch. It would really remind me of how in Tokyo ghoul root A Kaneki got a new look and spent the whole season with Aogiri.
It makes sense Steven is a diamond so Steven might want to negotiate with the diamonds and join and fix everything but it will be something better than his mother
Maybe season 5 will be about Steven trying to make better relations between Humans and Gems. And they will deal with getting Lapis back, and dealing with the human zoo, and the aftermath of everything that happened to Lars, and new Off Color protocol. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm so ready for Steven to be a Diamond. Well Steven already has his quart. A Pearl, A Peridot, A Ruby, A Sapphire, Quarts soldiers with Amethyst, the famethyst and maybe Jasper. A Lapis. A squad of Ruby's. Then there are the Off Colors and Lars for his space fleet. And of course Connie and the other humans. Yeah I could totally see the whole crew coming together in the end to make up a new kind of Pink Diamond court.
An idea I have is that Stevens powers are diminished because his gem is still as a rose quartz. Pink Diamonds gem is supposed to be laying on the side, not inward, and this takes energy to keep in place since she shapeshifted. Granted, Steven was born with the gem in this position so this might not be the case, but if it was laying the original way then he might have more energy to do things like actually shapshift or have more control over his powers.

And Pearl loves Rose/Pink Dimond so yeah she covered for her. Was it the best idea? Probably not but that doesn't mean Pearl is all to blame
Steven joining the diamond authority would make a very interesting ark and would allow us to see if he could affect and change the diamonds monarchy and maybe even bring gems and humans together overall I can't wait to see this happen.
I would want you guys to talk about a problem quite big with the Pink Diamond is Rose Quartz. You see, the fact that someone like Pink was killed created a sense of danger for the characters. But with Lars dieing only to be brought back 10 seconds later and the fact that Pink was never shattered, this sense of danger has been massively reduced. That's the problem I found. We can't feel worried for the characters' safety, because with the path the Crewniverse is taking, SU seems that will end with the full happy ending, which means everyone will be alive, safe and happy at the end, even the antagonists.
Soul6 I feel like that was a lot of people's reaction. The show suddenly became way less dark. The darkest thing really that they showed us was the fusion experiments and then they never mentioned them ever again. We expect corruption will be cured somewhere along the line because ... Why wouldn't it be? Poofing and getting your gem cracked seem like not that big of a deal because of Stevens powers. He can heal cracked gems and bring people back from the dead. That eliminates SO many stakes from the narrative IMO.

The Pop Rockers I imagine she can customise the appearance of her weapon to some extent. If she can then I wonder if all gems can customise their weapons or if it' s a Diamond thing. Another option could be the shield changing as her personality changes. Or perhaps she first summoned the shield as Rose Quartz so it took Rose's theme. It's implied that though all Gems have the capability to summon Gem Weapons not all know how and not all have offensive weapons, hence the need for Bismuth and her Physical weapons, so she could have been taught by other quartzes'.

The low resources thing might not be a lie but I'm convinced the whole "can't summon weapons" this is a lie. Peridot was told she didn't have powers but she does. Alternatively the Diamonds themselves could legitimatley believe that there Gems don't have powers but are just wrong. But I find that less likley.

Since pink diamond rebelled it does stand against what the crystal gems fought for. The way they got gems fighting is by showing just another Quartz was able to do this. It gives gems hope but if a perfect being does everything it’s not special and doesn’t give them any reason to fight.
I'm just imagining Yellow and/or Blue Diamond going to check on how well "new Pink Diamond" is keeping his newly assigned court in line, and they just find him having jam sessions and swapping puns with them. And just overall constantly feeding the gems "meant" to serve him positive vibes.

So my theory is that onion is white diamond because in the episode onion gang, he shows Steven his friends and his friends matches the diamonds and specially the boy with the striped pink shirt. so basically the boy in pink striped shirt faked his death and put ketchup on his face just like pink diamond did. What really got my attention in that episode is the baby he carries in his back because that can represent Steven and also in the episode “I Am My Mom” onion talks to topaz and topaz has a surprised face as if she understood onions mumbling. Also in the episode onion trade he makes creepy faces as if he was trying to control Stevens mind and he also finds ways into the temple, stealing stuff and is basically sneaky as if he was trying to spy on the crystal gems. What I also think is that onion knows pink diamond isn’t dead and was trying to tell Steven that she faked her own death in the episode. Even his mom said “he doesn’t really like eating” and it makes sense cuz gems don’t need to eat and he showed Steven how he was born as if he was trying to convince him that he was a human.

My theory is if White Diamond truly has mind powers, I could see her finding out that Steven is Pink Diamond and try to manipulate him into joining the Diamond Authority so he could take Pink's place and do an even better job. I feel as if the animation would take way too long, setting the show back. If the movie fails, that's a massive waste of time as they could have made like 20 really good episodes with an ongoing plot instead of one failure. If thw movie succeeds it will really mess up the dynamic of the show.

I'm going through some pretty heavy life problems right now, and after watching "A Single Pale Rose" I couldn't even be bothered by those problems, the episode shook me that much! I'm shooketh!
I would love Steven as a diamond for a good portion of the series. Especially if he turned his gem around. I love when characters establish new goals for themselves, go through these sort of persona changes, adopt a slightly new method of doing things and get a new appearance to wrap it all together in a nice bow. I would also love if some townie episodes were then replaced with the lives of gems on homeworld. This is Steven's show and if he goes to homeworld and becomes a Diamond the show would have to follow. Featuring townie episodes of how everyone is doimg on Earth and how they are dealing with Steven's absence and seeing what the lives of gem's are and how they are being affected or what they think of getting this new unique Diamond. I would love Steven's interactions with the diamonds. With Yellow not really being ok with it and then warming up to Steven and Blue being kind of relieved and happy but sort of sticking with Yellow untill they can both accept it. Steven becoming a diamond might even contribute to our first glimpse at White Diamond. I would love it if she just went along with it out of curiosity and maybe had some bigger sort of villainous plan for Steven. Needless to say it would be an arc i would watch. It would really remind me of how in Tokyo ghoul root A Kaneki got a new look and spent the whole season with Aogiri.
It makes sense Steven is a diamond so Steven might want to negotiate with the diamonds and join and fix everything but it will be something better than his mother

Maybe season 5 will be about Steven trying to make better relations between Humans and Gems. And they will deal with getting Lapis back, and dealing with the human zoo, and the aftermath of everything that happened to Lars, and new Off Color protocol. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm so ready for Steven to be a Diamond. Well Steven already has his quart. A Pearl, A Peridot, A Ruby, A Sapphire, Quarts soldiers with Amethyst, the famethyst and maybe Jasper. A Lapis. A squad of Ruby's. Then there are the Off Colors and Lars for his space fleet. And of course Connie and the other humans. Yeah I could totally see the whole crew coming together in the end to make up a new kind of Pink Diamond court.
Can we go back to the ep 3 gems and a baby, and see a foreshadowing between yellow and blue diamonds approach to Steven having pink’s gem.

An idea I have is that Stevens powers are diminished because his gem is still as a rose quartz. Pink Diamonds gem is supposed to be laying on the side, not inward, and this takes energy to keep in place since she shapeshifted. Granted, Steven was born with the gem in this position so this might not be the case, but if it was laying the original way then he might have more energy to do things like actually shapshift or have more control over his powers.

I would want you guys to talk about a problem quite big with the Pink Diamond is Rose Quartz. You see, the fact that someone like Pink was killed created a sense of danger for the characters. But with Lars dieing only to be brought back 10 seconds later and the fact that Pink was never shattered, this sense of danger has been massively reduced. That's the problem I found. We can't feel worried for the characters' safety, because with the path the Crewniverse is taking, SU seems that will end with the full happy ending, which means everyone will be alive, safe and happy at the end, even the antagonists.
Soul6 I feel like that was a lot of people's reaction. The show suddenly became way less dark. The darkest thing really that they showed us was the fusion experiments and then they never mentioned them ever again. We expect corruption will be cured somewhere along the line because ... Why wouldn't it be? Poofing and getting your gem cracked seem like not that big of a deal because of Stevens powers. He can heal cracked gems and bring people back from the dead. That eliminates SO many stakes from the narrative IMO.

The Pop Rockers I imagine she can customise the appearance of her weapon to some extent. If she can then I wonder if all gems can customise their weapons or if it' s a Diamond thing. Another option could be the shield changing as her personality changes. Or perhaps she first summoned the shield as Rose Quartz so it took Rose's theme. It's implied that though all Gems have the capability to summon Gem Weapons not all know how and not all have offensive weapons, hence the need for Bismuth and her Physical weapons, so she could have been taught by other quartzes'.

So my theory is that onion is white diamond because in the episode onion gang, he shows Steven his friends and his friends matches the diamonds and specially the boy with the striped pink shirt. so basically the boy in pink striped shirt faked his death and put ketchup on his face just like pink diamond did. What really got my attention in that episode is the baby he carries in his back because that can represent Steven and also in the episode “I Am My Mom” onion talks to topaz and topaz has a surprised face as if she understood onions mumbling. Also in the episode onion trade he makes creepy faces as if he was trying to control Stevens mind and he also finds ways into the temple, stealing stuff and is basically sneaky as if he was trying to spy on the crystal gems. What I also think is that onion knows pink diamond isn’t dead and was trying to tell Steven that she faked her own death in the episode. Even his mom said “he doesn’t really like eating” and it makes sense cuz gems don’t need to eat and he showed Steven how he was born as if he was trying to convince him that he was a human.
