Since "Not all Pearls know each other." is technically true, it's more accurate to say that Pearl dodged the question with a Mathematician's Answer, as opposed to outright lying.

@@kou7191 Exactly. I've made this point before - Steven asking Pearl if she knew Yellow Pearl was akin to asking a black person if they happen to know another black person or asking a man if he happens to know this other man.
Just because they're the same gender, color, or gem - in this case - doesn't mean Pearl knows every pearl in existence. That would be like asking Ruby if she knew who the members of the ruby squad were or if Sapphire knows all the other sapphires. Granted, that's not what Steven meant, but it was implied - you're a pearl, so you must know other pearls.
I don't think our Pearl would be shattered. She wasn't actually a renegade Pearl. If you ask me she's the loyalist Pearl of all, abandoning her home and everything she knew for the sake of her Diamond.
Alo2500 Well don't forget that while it is currently unknown to the diamonds, Pearl did inspire Pink Diamond to turn on homeworld. It was her suggestion to warp to earth. When Pink Diamond said she'll never hear the end of it, it was Pearl who suggested that they won't know because she'll be in disguise.

"Not all pearls know each other" is NOT a lie. It is an evasive answer. There's a huge difference. There are hundreds of pearls at least, and it's extremely unlikely that they all know each other.

I think the pearls always knew, but were never given the opportunity to voice an opinion. They knew they would be shattered for insinuating that there was a coverup behind the scenes. We see how angry Yellow got, how shocked Blue was, and this was at a formal trial. If a Pearl, a PEARL, DARED to state that, they would likely be crushed to dust without a second thought.
The Pearls saw our Pearl open the door, and they said nothing once again. Because silence is better than shattering.

I really wish the “Our Pearl is White Diamond’s former pearl” theory came to fruition. It’s a shame how many important plot points never got to be realized due to how the final season had to be rushed after the wedding episode. I mean, you can’t tell me our Pearl wasn’t White Diamond’s at one point. Their gem placements match on their foreheads and both their personalities match. The episode with Volleyball (Pink Diamond’s first pearl) in Steven Universe Future was a good start to the conversation, as we learned that Volleyball was with Pink before Pearl, but then that’s as far as the conversation went. Yes, Pearl did say to Bismuth when reuniting with her in Season 4 that she belonged to nobody, but that was clearly part of her characterization, showing her rebellious side and self-empowerment. Her character as a Pearl meant that she belonged to someone, and according to Peridot she was a fancy one who’d have belonged to a very high gem. Again with how all the Pearls mimic their masters (Yellow Pearl is blunt like Yellow, Blue Pearl is melancholy like Blue, Volleyball is immature like Pink), it only makes sense with how our Pearl is a bit of a control freak that she’d be like-and have belonged to-White Diamond. Even if it isn’t essentially confirmed but never outright stated, having that confirmation directly from the show proper or Rebecca Sugar themself would’ve been nice before the show’s end. 🥲

I'm still convinced that Our Pearl was not custom made. She doesn't look like PD and she was able to pass as Sapphire's Pearl. What if Blue and Yellow Pearl looked down on her for that too? She's a generic Pearl and she's a Crystal Gem? Our girl is gonna have it rough.
All pearls are custom made. Not only that peridot a kindergarten who judges how well gems are made said Crystal Gem pearl was *fancy* not generic. If the theory are correct our Pearl was made by White Diamond to replace the original Pink pearl because she wasn't seen as suitable. The original Pink pearl was punished and turned into the current White pearl.
@@qazwsxedc562 Custom made as in modeled after their owner. Our Pearl was able to pass as Sapphire's Pearl. That could mean that Pearl's being modelled after their owner's appearance might be rare. I think she was either originally for another elite but was reassigned last minute. Not really disagreeing with her replacing Pink Pearl. Hell, I think she was reassigned because they didn't want to leave PD without Pearl for long.
I personally support the concept that our Pearl was created by White, Yellow, and Blue to be a PROPER Pearl for Pink. I doubt White actualy needed a Pearl, and took on Pink Pearl the First because Pink refused to let her be shattered.

Assuming the theories about Pink/White Pearl and our Pearl are correct. Blue and Yellow Pearl seem kind of childish compared to how the second Pink Pearl was at the start. Maybe the original Pink Pearl was also like this and Pink Diamond encouraged it, so they get into all sorts of trouble together like siblings or something like that. Then the original Pink Pearl gets taken away when they go to far, maybe with something like a prank, and Pink Diamond is given a much more robotic pearl, which is the second Pink Pearl. At least that's what I think.

I just want to see a flashback of the moment the Diamonds learned of Pink's fate. Their reactions... Blue looks different from her mural, I think White poofed her when she started crying uncontrollably and when she regenerated, her appearance changed to the cloak she has now in mourning.
I can see White getting angry because Blue refuses to attack earth after falling into a depression and wanting to be alone and left to mourn.

I'm pretty sure even if our Pearl stood next to the other 2 Pearls (Blue and Yellow) they would not even know it was her since we know Pearl changed from her old design and that gems can only be properly identified by stating their gem's faceting cut numbers. Yellow Diamond did not even know which Peridot she was talking to, until she mentioned her facet number.
Also Pearl is no traitor in any way shape or form. Pearl served her Diamond all the way through up to this point. If the Diamonds want to have a war game with each other, then the gems under their leadership have no saying in the matter. They do as they are told or they will be considered a traitor to their assigned court.

I agree that the pearls would recognise our Pearl and that they would know each other on person levels that are high enough for them to know certain things about each other but if Blue and Yellow’s pearls did know, why did they never tell them? Then again they might not have been able to tell it was our Pearl but wouldn’t they have seen strong similarities between Rose’s/ our Pearl and Pink’s pearl?
True. this should be an obvious plothole. The pearls were either:
1. Too dumb to notice that CG Pearl was Pink's Pearl.
2. They just assumed it was a different Pearl (which is likely but also unlikely considering the Pearls made for diamonds were "fancy")
3. They didn't care and didn't bother to report.
4. They cared about CG Pearl's safety and didn't want her to get shattered so they let her be, keeping the secret for years.

The pearls actually talk and have a good time. In one episode when they are on Homeworld with yellow and blue pearl they talk about what they like to do and even share some laughs and smiles until Blue diamond comes in the room.

While I seriously doubt either Yellow Pearl or Blue Pearl knew what happened to Pink Dianond, I am looking forward to seeing them interact wit our Pearl.
At the Trial? They are so dedicated to their roles: as the Pearls to the Diamonds, I think just put the *idea* that a Pearl would act in any way other than helpful to their Diamond is just ... mind-blowing. They can't fathom it ... Yellow Pearl even confirms this by asking "what is fun?" because she has no thoughts beyond her role as Yellow's Pearl. Really hope this changes because both of them see fun characters from their scenes so far!

I always wondered about that clip with pearl and blue pearl it just seemed so unreal at first but then I started realizing... the pearls are all.. truly, alive they obviously had a past something makes them special because they serve the diamonds... so many questions.

No, listen, every pearl has her gem where her diamond has her gem. So, YP and BP have their gems at the nape of there necks, just like their diamonds. Volleyball has her gem on her stomach, just like PD, meaning she originally belonged to PD. And our Pearl has her gem on her FOREHEAD, JUST LIKE WD, meaning she was WD's original pearl. That might also be why our pearl likes to keep everything organised and perfect.

I definitely think they know. Think about it. Pearls take FOREVER to get right. Therefore theyve gotta be smart too. The diamonds not so much because they're ALWAYS perfect. Not to mention the fact that Yellow and Blue are so close. So it makes sense because they'd definitely think of her a safe replacement for their friend. And therefore they'd be cruel to her NOT ONLY for being a traitor. But for causing pink pearl to be nothing more than a husk of the pearl they knew.

This made me think, and I really don't understand how the Diamonds didn't automatically know the truth, when they saw Pearl. She hardly changed her appearance, if at all, from when she was serving Pink Diamond, to when she was serving 'Rose Quartz'.

I know this is like a year and a half later and the series has now ended, but this is a big question to me. Why didn't the diamonds wonder where PD's Pearl was? This needs to get sent to the crewniverse.
I hardly think they'd be gossipy with OUR Pearl, I mean they MAY not like *each other* but with OUR Pearl for the rebellion...highly unlikely 7.7 IF they were in her shoes, they'd understand WHY she'd do this for her Diamond regardless
I want to see if they will ever figure out how to undo the cluster and return them to their original forms. Seems difficult, however there is a gem that has the power of time that Steven used and they could make a whole season of them tracking the shards through time to find them in the present day and then have some episodes where they work out a way to unfuse the shards in the cluster.

Anyone else notice how the pearls have their Gems in the same positions of their diamonds? My theory is that Our Pearl was originals white diamond’s pearl, thus explaining her need for perfection, (other than being a pearl) and when she thought that pink diamond’s pearl wasn’t good enough, white diamond gave pink diamond her pearl, and white took pink’s as well

It would seem to be impossible for them to not realize that the Pearl with Rose Quartz was Pinks Pearl. So they would likely suspect that Pink's Pearl betrayed her, and were highly afraid that this would be realized and cause a caste-wide punishment of all Pearls as was done with Rose Quartz's we saw bubbled. I'm very doubtful they figured out that Pink faked her death, as Blue Pearl would have wanted to tell with to Blue Diamond.
