Spoken like someone who didn't actually watch the series... She needs to see her target, and on some part, mention her target's name, because otherwise, as logic dictate, anyone who could hear her natural voice when she uses her geass, including herself, will be affected by her geass. This is actually already somewhat explored upon with another voice-based geass user Rai(from yet another code geass spin-off, in this case, a ps2 game). Yes, you NEED to explore the other part of the verse first to better understand the concept and story, much like how you need to watch the three-parter digest movies of Lelouch rebellion before watching resurrection because those movies are the continuity that resurrection follows. Granted, Roze/Sakuya didn't have a section specifically meant for her trying to explore her geass, but the way she uses it throughout the series, as well as when she was captured, and by using a little common sense, how her geass works can be fairly easily guessed. Secondly, Norland isn't even Charles to begin with. You'll know this and his motive if you actually watched the anime. It's on episode 10. It's not even the first time knightmare frame of that size and body build appearing within the code geass universe. I can say the 12 episodes is what limit the characters' development. But not even the original code geass can escape the limitation of runtime; as we can see with Koudou, Handou, and Oudou, which has a total runtime comparable to 12 episodes. @@brickch.6502 You never said he's Charles? I quote from your previous comment, "Norland's frame was more looking like a gundam than a frame. PLUS his reveal to be AGAIN fucking Charles is so LAME it left (me) baffled so hard I couldn't even be mad about how bad it is." As far as I know, there is no other precedence where Charles serves as antagonist the second time, so the wording you used implied that he IS Charles. But of course, sorry if I misunderstood you. He never mentioned anything about Charles agreeing to his creation, just that 'they' created him and would upload Charles' memory into him should Charles dies. Given that Charles is already capable of extending his own lifespan, and is most likely aware that he can become immortal by sacrificing his geass at any moment of time, would you think that he'd commission a clone for a back up body? I don't think so too. This means that he is created by a third party, as they're unaware of what Charles is capable of, OR the project was commisioned before Charles found out about the immortality. Though of course, it's just an assumption. Comes with territory since it's only 12 episodes; they'll skip something. That being said, I do think that they left Norland with too little information. His motive is indeed not explored further, but finding something disgusting sometimes just come naturally with you from the get go. You can find worms disgusting and explain why it disgust you, but you may not be able to explain *when* you start feeling that disgust. There is no way to explain that kind of mental aspect properly. He's basically what happened when you let a born-psychopath to gain power and influence. What I take more offense though, they didn't explain why they let him free in the wild. So it's again left to assumption. Considering that it's also a different continuity to the original, it's also possible that Charles DID commision Norland's creation, THEN decided to install him into the Knights of the Round to be able to directly control him. But again, I don't like how they don't exactly expand on this. Unlike what C.C. does (giving seed of geass to others), Lelouch gave *his* geass power to Sakuya. This is why he can immediately tell Sakuya that the power he's giving her is the ability to lord over others and all that it'll bring her, because it's originally his and he has the experience in using it himself. It has nothing to do with what her 'wish' is because it's not a seed of geass. C.C even ask Lelouch about this too, specifically saying that it's *his* geass. That said, I also wonder why the way Sakuya activates the geass is different when it's supposedly the same power as Lelouch's. Yeah, I agree that it's not as good as the original code geass, but you're comparing a 50 episodes anime to an anime that HAS to conclude in 12. Compare it to three-parter digest movie and see if you still think compressing a story that needs to be flesh out so much is a good idea. As good as original code geass plot is, it breaks down too when forced to conclude within a duration much shorter than it's supposed to be, not even the original writer can do much about it. As it is, it concludes things and put in enough development just fine in only 12 episodes. It wasn't that deep, yes. The part about Norland and how little information about his past is provided is bad, yes. But if you're expecting a story as explored as the original from just 12 episode, you're putting a cart before the horse.
Its so sad, I only watched this because L2 and C2 were in it I thought they would make another appearance at the end but I was wrong I'm only interested in what their doing I'm especially curious about that pile of dead bodies shown at the end of the previous movie

Classic ending of a Mecha anime.... Mc dying
As long as villain been defeated I’m happy unlike ibo s2 s1 best ending
Sakuya... Mon!
I never watched the anime is this the final ep? if it is then that's sad
(the Anime seem like similar) This girl kinda blood ratelated to hail Lelouch
I find the ending anticlimatic, and sakuya muting herself i found it kidna pointless at this point of the story, the euphy incident doesn't apply here
😅😅😅hehehe... Luckily im not watching it
Man I wish they could bring back lelouch I dont give a f about those side stories

I thought this show was okay but not as good as the original. But sequel series is. Other than dbz being better than db.

Its so sad, I only watched this because L2 and C2 were in it I thought they would make another appearance at the end but I was wrong I'm only interested in what their doing I'm especially curious about that pile of dead bodies shown at the end of the previous movie
then you should just drop Code Geass because it's not only about Lelouch and C. C hasn't been for YEARS. Also the Code Geass director has stated that Lelouch story as protagonist as ended. From now on new Code Geass series or movies will have new protagonists
@@symphonixblades just like Gundam series?
@@kentmorado9342 yep, Sunrise wants Code Geass to be like Gundam. We have in animes the following protagonists : Lelouch, Akito and Sakuya.
In Manga we have : Lelouch, Suzaku, Nunnally, Oldrin Zevon, Orpheus Zevon, Renya.
Oldrin and Orpheus Zevon show up as a cameo in Rozé of the Recapture.
@@symphonixblades so more code Geass projects to come?
@@kentmorado9342 that's what the director said in an interview, he said that from now on all Code Geass projects would be in the Resurrection timeline and that this was the last time that Lelouch VA will be needed to play Lelouch (but that's what I read whether it's true or not idk)

Really dead right? Not something bullshit like that one, 🤣
I agree with you, the reason for death is so ridiculous .
