    Great stuff. Would love to see a transcription of a few of those patterns.

      Thank you Dave! Give me some time stamps if you like and might do a slow demonstration of it ?!

    OMG! That vid is great. You are great soloist on drums. Nice angle to see what you do also. I especially like the licks from around 6:35-6:48. That is stuff I never try before but I saved off your vid and will practice it today during my session. It will be on my jazz kit though because my rock kit is in cases from travelling.

      Okay cool - give it a go!
      I have one (not that good though) video on those licks called “playing the tribal ending”.

      Can i ask you - for most of the parts you start with the Bonham engine and then add doubles to each stroke? Same for the crossover patterns?

    • @bonhamalsowaltzes1601
      @bonhamalsowaltzes1601  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jimbrey1138 of course! I rarely add doubles to the Bonham engine, that would be quick straight notes. But I usually play triplets over the engine feet
      There’s different crossovers but the ones I do early in this video is LRK, “Bonham triplets”

    Again brilliant I wish you could do a close up on your left hi hat foot maybe split the film above and below

    • @bonhamalsowaltzes1601
      @bonhamalsowaltzes1601  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Which part of the video would you like to see with split screen & hihat close up?

    • @bonhamalsowaltzes1601
      @bonhamalsowaltzes1601  ปีที่แล้ว

      Or you mean the hi hat foot, the pedal? I only shot with 1 camera so I can’t do that. But I can edit any video with the hi hat cymbals zoomed in.

    • @bonhamalsowaltzes1601
      @bonhamalsowaltzes1601  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Remo Ambassador as batter head & Remo Hazy as resonance head. I tune the reso head super tight (tighter than you might think!) And the batter head = medium/medium high
