Hey, you there! If you have any constructive criticism on this video or any of my videos, please let me know! I’m trying to get an overall feel of how my audience feels about this content. Please let me know and don’t go easy on me 😉
Looks great man! Just finished an 02 125 complete rebuild as well. Was looking into that HF powder coat kit for future projects. Appreciate your comments on it, I’ll give it a shot!
Thank you very much! The kit works pretty well, I would definitely recommend getting a good air regulator, I’m using the one from harbor freight on mine, and it’s pretty inconsistent with the air pressure
I haven’t watched the video yet but damnnn…. That motor is cleannn
Thank you! I’m in love with it…
@@ChaseBuiltBikescycle fab on TH-cam and eBay makes a kit for the harbor freight powder coat gun. It’s supposed to make it spray better and more consistently which should help with those thick spots that you had on the engine. I bought it for my gun but I can’t speak for it yet since I haven’t used my gun yet. I’m looking into getting an oven for the powder coat. Lmk if you have any tips! I’m currently building a 2001 yz125 as well
@@awesomeproducts1582I’ll have to check that out! One tip I would have with getting the powder coat set up is get a good regulator, the HF one isn’t the best and has inconsistent air pressure.
very nice work
Much appreciated 🙂
Powder Coating doesn't seem to hold up that well in my experience... I have found Dupli color has worked the best. I do appreciate your explanation on how to prep for P/C
