Jim, I don't work with wood, and I know so little about woodturning. I watch this channel because watching woodturning is very relaxing for me. I come back to your channel so much more than other woodworkers because your passion for what you do is infectious. I feel a great appreciation for the when you leave in the errors and work around them. It's a reminder that mistakes aren't the end, they are what make you better at what you do. You're absolutely right, you can't go wrong with walnut and cherry. Another amazing piece and although I love the epoxy it's always nice to see some 'traditional' turning especially when it turns out like this.
This bowl is absolutely gorgeous! The different colors in the wood and the defined veins makes this bowl stand out!! Great job!! Bravo!

This bowl turned out beautifully. I believe that bowl was sitting around waiting for you to choose the right wood for it’s top. You made an excellent choice, these 2 woods go beautifully together & I love the decision you made for with having the inlay to be Mother of Pearl. I’m sure you will have a fabulous time at your son & new daughter-in-law’s wedding. Make sure to have a dance with your new daughter-in-law. Oh I almost forgot Congrats on get 100K in subscriber’s.
