Also, RE is the 850 - 900cc version, i have 600cc, 600R E-Tec and ofc some difference due to 900cc is bigger engine, and have some some stuff by the looks is different. but other than that more or less the same sled as my 600R XTerrain, and my 600R is 2 stroke. it is a REALLY good CrossOver sled. works good on the trail and off the trail. tho i live in Sweden and our Trails is mostly made by us sled riders. its not like a pre prepped trail that is more common in US and CAN.
that sled in 154 skid and 38/36 in skistances would be a awesome true offtrail sled! BRP/lynx are you listeing? inesreting part is that on the trail side of brp between 850 and 900 turbo 35 pound diference that aint much considering a 4 stroke!
Guess I’m confused why you’d want to take away from the off trail capabilities by doing that. If you’re an active rider, riding trails is not an issue even at 38”. Take the backcountry out to 40” and it rides even better on trail. Last thing the backcountry needs is a 42” front.
@@ChaseLandMgmt I have been riding for 30 years. I run my backcountry on the 38 setting its not a big deal. I just think putting the trail front end on it would make it alot better all around sled would be a true 50/50 cross over sled. If u can remember few years ago the backcountry had the wide front end. That's why skidoo came out with the free ride to be a 60/40 cross over sled. But for some reason skidoo made the free ride into summit. Which I don't understand.
@@bigmurph1447 I wish they’d make a kit that would have an extra set of spindles and skis that you could quickly change between trail and off trail widths. The free ride progression has left me scratching my head as well.
@@ChaseLandMgmt yeah would be nice. I don't get the free ride either you don't need 18 different summits. To me skidoo needs to step there color choices up they suck most of them. For as much as we pay for these sleds u should have more color options. Back in the 90's they had nice colorful sleds. Now we got dull colors like black and tan mix with lime green or sliver. Colors don't even go together
@@bigmurph1447 agreed on the excessive summit models. I am a sucker for charcoal and black or charcoal and green, so I do like those choices. But it seems like they are indeed quite dull and lack the fun and flare sleds had years ago. I wish they’d have 4 or 5 color options, not 2. Pay almost 20k out the door and you’ve got a 50/50 shot whether or not it’s going to be identical to your neighbors new sled.
The 4 stroke BRP sleds look like a guy who gave up on life and just sits on the couch and drinks beer and eats.. it’s soo fat on the sides lol. For only 15 more hp.. get the proven 850. Skidoo does a lot good but their 900r is kind of a disappointment when compared to arctic cat/Yamahas 4 stroke

Good sled! You don't anything else.👍
If money was no object this would be my sled of choice hands down
Cool sled! Didn’t realize lynx came in a 4stroke. Awesome!
RE = RaceEdition
They’ve specifically said that’s not what it means
That's basically a backcountry with trail front end hopefully skidoo does this to the backcountry

How did you spec it with 2in lugs I could only get the 1.6 with the 900?
Correct. I'm not sure. 2.4 is 850. 1.6 is the 900r turbo for 2024. 20 inch wide tracks tho. Weird
This was an option for 2023
@@fishsticks5175 terrain re isn't the wide track pretty sure that's the brutal or whatever
What is the top speed?
100mph easily
No R Motion suspensión
It have PPS rear suspension which is awesome.
$25,000?

Arctic Cat has used the Lynx model name as well as pretty much all cat name for years.
Shame on brp for having no original names.
Dude, Lynx has been around since the late 60´s.
C’mon dude. Just because you couldn’t see it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist.
