    About Ladoo
    Laddu or laddoo (Hindi: लड्डू) is a spherical sweet originating from the Indian subcontinent. Laddus are primarily made from flour, fat (ghee/butter/oil) and sugar. Laddus are often made of gram flour but can also be made with semolina. Sometimes ingredients such as chopped nuts and/or dried raisins are also added. The type of ingredients used may vary by recipe.Laddus are often served during festive or religious occasions. Common flours used for laddu include gram flour (chickpea flour), wheat semolina, dry fruits and ground coconut. These are combined with sugar and other flavorings, cooked in ghee, and molded into a ball shape. Some laddu recipes are prepared using Ayurvedic medicinal ingredients, including methi laddu, multigrain, and resin laddu. Nuts such as pistachios and almonds are commonly stuffed into laddus. |

    Hello Varun.
    I tried this recipe with few variations.
    Ghee used was bit less.
    I wanted to make it for Makar Sankranti on 15th hence I added bit black and white til, since pistachio quantity was also not available .
    It was YUMMY and VERY VERY EASY, NO FAIL recipe. BIG THANK YOU for sharing. Your presentation is very good 🙏🙏🙏🙏

      Gond/ Edible Plant Gum is very good for the body! Involve them also in your ladoos otherwise they will feel leftout and we don't want that to happen😆❤

    Sugar free but full of FAT. why does this guy complicate stuff. Same with EVERY dish. Simple is good. I understand being OCD but don't put sugar free, healthy in stuff that is cooked or fried in so much ghee.

      Perhaps sesame seeds as a substitute rather than Flax...it has to be ground first or soaked and soaking would change the whole ladoo recipe 😃

    Delighted to see your recipe. It is close yo my Mother's except she also used roasted Pumpkin seeds, Sunflower seeds and Watermelon seeds. I cringe when I see numerous TH-camrs adding refined sugar to these wholesome ingredients. Thanks for sharing a delicious and healthy version.
