    010. Terminal A
    The terminal has been designed to create seamless connectivity for visitors and transit passengers. It is equipped with advanced biometric technology, and when fully operational, will be the only airport globally to offer all 9 touchpoints in the biometric journey; paving the way for a travel experience tailored to individual passengers.
    020. Terminal A
    Passengers at Terminal A can experience a seamless journey from pre-travel to the boarding gate, facilitated by the latest technologies and interconnected biometric systems. The terminal provides self-service kiosks, streamlined security checkpoints, and advanced baggage handling systems to ensure a smooth and digitised travel experience.
    020. Terminal A-3
    The building itself has won a number of prestigious awards for its modern and functional design, and recently featured as a set in the latest Mission: Impossible film. Incorporating energy and water saving technology, and a sizeable solar plant instillation, it has been built with the environment in mind.

    The airport, located 16.5 nautical miles (30.6 km; 19.0 mi) east of Abu Dhabi, and covers an area of 3,400 hectares (8,500 acres).[2] The airport is served by 24 airlines to 128 destinations.[3] Since 15 November 2023, all passenger operations are operated from Terminal A. From 9 February 2024, the airport will be renamed as Zayed International Airport, after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates.[4]
