I just bought a wired freedom duel battery and the wired predator. Both of those bikes came with all the manuals that you said they didnt come with.
The reason I decided to go with wired over ecells is because I called ECells 3 times and was hung up on 3 times. You could here the line pick up and then disconnect. Everytime I have called Wired someone always picks up.
Maybe next spring when I purchase another bike Ecells will pick up the phone. Bummer.
I love these Wired bikes! I do not regret buying them. Answer the phone Ecells!
And if you say something on their Facebook bike account that they feel will hurt their sales Ecells will block you. Fc them okay
same here! originally i was going to go with ecells and chose Wired because of the updates back in May of 2024. it's an ecells with an extra battery, thru axle in the front, 45 amp controller with a higher top speed and i think ecells is still using the smaller brakes.
Trust me you made the right decision. I am going to do the same.
No matter what side anyone choses on this topic, as long as you are happy with the one you boufgt, thats all that really counts. I personally chose the 5*. Along with all the factors you pointed out, ecells is the only one to my knowledge in this ebike setting to use double wall rims. A 100 lbs bike doing 30+ mph with single wall rims is an accident waiting to happen. There is a reason why downhill MTBers use double wall rims. I appreciate the fact that ecells is forward thinking and took our safety as a priority. As a rider & mechanic/builder, I have seen 1st hand how catastrophic it is when a singlemwall fails.
Thank you for sharing.
The 2024 late model Freedom does have the 203mm in front as well
I just watched another video yesterday, they also have upgraded to a potted controller.
After nearly 200 days of waiting for my Ecells custom 5 Star Dual Star, I've decided to spend my $$ elsewhere
They never sent your bike?!?
@bdub3871 no. I asked if they were ever going to fulfill it and said unfortunately my custom order was too custom. Bought me a Lectric One and will probably buy a Furious in the spring.
I waited about a month for my eCells Kings Crown and just over 4 months for my wife's Dual Step Star. We expected a long wait for the Step Star because of all of the modifications and upgrades that were added. I can 100% confirm it was worth the wait. Everywhere we ride heads are turning and people are asking about them. There is literally nothing like these bikes wherever we go. 10 out of 10 for eCells.
@@jeffcarello7446same here. I waited 116 days for my dual star. It's an amazing bike. Always turned heads no matter where I went.
Your research about Wired Ebikes is not quite accurate. I have purchased three Wired Ebikes and probably a customer for life.
I have talked to the owner Stephen on several occasions and has bent over backwards on the few times I’ve had problems with my E-Bike. They also offer a custom front basket which I have on my 24 Cruiser plus. It would’ve cost me over 500 more dollars to get what comes standard on the Wired Cruiser with the extra battery coming standard with Wired
You must have an older version because I just picked up my Wired Freedom and it has a support there where you're showing the E-cells has one. The bike you have also has the "Old" controller box. The new box has grooves in it and is smaller.
Yes, the bikes were market equivalents. We know upgrades have happened
All in all the wired is the clear winner when watching all the other reviewers and comments…
new WIRED Freedom 3200W Peak Output (35Ah) 153 NM of Torque $2,428.93. E-Cells Dual Star (35Ah) 2400W peak power $2,695.00 with big light and big fork. E-Cells Five Star $2,095.00 only 20Ah 2400w. that older blue WIRED Freedom only has 2200 watts.
It’s worth noting shipping costs with eCells inclusion of shipping versus Wired.
The move into standard dual battery has set Wired apart again and it will be interesting to see how that plays out if and when the newer set of Tariffs role out.
The new 24+ Freedom to my front door here in ca was going to be $2,444. Last May the Blue Dual Star with torque sensor and gold wheels, dual battery's and WAY better Dual Crown forks to my front door was $2,543. No regrets. The Bike is Stunning !
@@ElectricAllWheel These tariffs are why I didn’t hesitate and bought my bike. Went with the updated Freedom, it’s great and a lot of the kinks have been worked out of it. No wobble with no hellbender for me. Maybe I just put my bike together right and know what I’m doing like you guys?
Been bought I'd say
Thank you for this video. Sorry to see all the nasty comments. I am waiting for my stepstar. Should be here by end of this month. I have been waiting since may. Dave explained and apologized several times that he was told by the manufacturer they could do all the options he offered. Well they couldnt in the time they promised and made him look bad. He is just about caught up, so the future people shouldn't have to have such long waits. Waiting was not fun especially seeing so many people loving their ecell bikes. But I know it will be well worth the wait.
So that's not a fact. Purchased a monster and stepstar and getting the run around and they are slow rolling my cancellation and refund because "Dave has to cancel it and call me back" Really? What kind of business is this. I have multiple businesses. Can you imagine if I slow rolled the cancellations and refunds? What a joke. Latest is he is trying to sell the business for a million when it pulls in 5 million? Really? This guy is way over his head.
I'm on e-cells web page right now, there aren't any options whatsoever on either of the Five Star versions. They aren't even for sale right now (backorder only).
Yep they have drastically reduced the options. Bro is comparing two completely outdated bikes.
the new freedom control does not need parameters for the settings. Very simple straight forward options.
I actually have Both of these bikes, Except I sprung for the Dual Star option, Blue with gold wheels. You are VERY Correct that the E-Cells is indeed a better built bike over the Wired. I counted 7 improvement upgrades on the E-Cells. However the torque sensor bikes don't come with a 56 tooth chain ring, it's a 48, you have to count them it's not marked. I had to change mine to a 56 tooth. Also, I hate to break it to you, but you have the 17" frame.( measure from the center of the crank to the top of the seat clamp.) Your bottom shock mount is solid, the 19 has lightning holes in it. ( I have the 19" ) Almost All the rack failures you see on facebook are the 24+ freedom with the battery mounted in the newly redesigned rack that sits 2" further back than the 24 Freedom. Your color combo Totally Rocks ! If I ever sprung for the MONSTAR , it would be Red with gold wheels for sure.
Weird question. @00:30 we see a rear view of the ecell bike. What caught my eye was the huge difference in the highest gesr vs the one bext to it. Perhaps i didnt see correct, but felt like a gear wheel is missing
Low gear is 34 T not 28 T
Hi is 11 T not a 14aT
Edited: Dear reader, you can disregard this comment, I went off without understanding the situation. I'll leave the text here, for whatever the opposite of posterity is. Sorry about that...
Man, I thought this might be an unbiased comparison of the two bikes, but that's not what this is at all... You sound like an Ecells salesman. The Ecells is better in a lot of ways, but even when the Ecells isn't as good, you try to spin it as a positive. There is misinformation in here and with the way you're gushing about Ecells, it really comes off as intentional lies. Like the metal reinforced gears in the motor, that's standard on the Wired too. It's like right there on the website, huge picture and everything. Did you even visit their website? The Wired bike ships with all the paper manuals also, no idea why you claim it doesn't. I guess it's cool that you can call up "Dave" and ask him what all those P-codes mean, but on the Wired bike, it's all in plain english. Like, just go in to the menu and it says what it does. The Wired bike comes with 203mm front and rear. Again, it's right there on the website, you could have checked before claiming it has 180mm. Anyway, I stopped watching about half way through after it became clear you were not interested in an honest comparison... "Maybe this review is a little old, I don't care" pretty much sums up your attitude. The Ecells was always going to win even if you have to compare it to the previous model Wired to get there.
The model generations for the bikes are the same.
It’s pretty unbelievable that an adult stranger would try and insult someone they do not know.
This channel is not affiliated to either company.
It’s also weird that WIRED customers want a comparison of the latest model to a previous model of eCells when the same generational comparison is the only way to truly see a difference.
WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD WE COMPARE A 45A WIRED TO AN OLDER 40A GENERATION ECELLS?
The Wired and eCells models of the same generation have the SAME p and c code settings.
On what planet would anyone think that a newer model Wired should be compared to an older model eCells?
We gushed over the better bike, and demonstrated why it was the better bike for its generation and the generational market equivalent.
@ElectricAllWheel Fair enough. I don't own the Ecells and did not know you were reviewing old generations of both bikes. It seemed like you were comparing an old Wired to a new Ecells. I apologize for going off half cocked.
@ElectricAllWheel I think the reason is that people come on to TH-cam to watch reviews and come away with an understanding on the differences of what bikes they can get today.
As a potential customer, why should I care to hear a comparison of an ecells Five Star against a Wired Freedom model that is no longer available for purchase?
@ because it was expressed in the video.
Because last we checked it’s 2024 and both bikes were true market equivalents.
Because it outlines the difference in approach between the companies thought process.
Because it is an apples to apples approach of 40A controller to 40A controller 60V 20Ah 1500W rear hub full suspension 26x4 fat tire e-bike and not a stock V8 compared to a nitrous V8 with twin gas tanks.
“Here we have a car that we know is in no way equivalent in range and speed but let’s compare them to make one group feel better”
We can’t roll our eyes hard enough.
Hi Lites? When do they start?
Thanks for your super detailed review!
Love my Wired Cruiser and if i need anything the Wired HQ is only a 45min drive south of me , E-cells makes some Badass Bikes, those bikes look the same
Quality review for 2 similar bikes. I was very close to getting a Wired before finding out about ECells. Their quality and attention to detail won out for me verses their new 45 amp controller and speed.
Yes ,Not to mention the Torque sensor option and the WAY WAY better E-Cells Dual Crown Forks. Wired doesn't even offer that killer Red paint or the Gold wheels either.
This is a very thorough comparison and a clear win for the ECells. Would also be interesting to see a comparison to the updated Wired against the newer generations of the 5 Star/Kingstar. However, in general I prefer safety, stability, and a solid feel over max speed. I own the 5 Star with dual battery and rarely use max speed, often use max acceleration, and ALWAYS enjoy the solid quality. I would not trade the feel and quality for a few more MPH.
I just installed the big headlight and dual crown fork, the rear battery and rack are on the way. Ecells also has an upgrade controller being tested. That also requires a call to them to be put on the list, it won't be offered on the website.
Every bike you buy is just a personal choice and after you buy you tend to defend your choice
Sounds like humanity in general in every othe aspect too not just ebikes. I know I do it but I make sure to humble myself by reminding myself I have some level of bias. Sometims hard to do.
l happy started watching this video because I want to buy one or the other of these bikes but the video you put out didn't have the latest Wired bike with the bigger brakes on both wheels and the the slightly higher power and both need to have the duel battery that the Wired comes with so the the review set up of two the bikes is the same, video you did was of No help at all in making real world a choice, get the bikes set up the same and please do the video again. I really like the red and gold too but apparently I'm not as cool as you so now I can't get that color bummer!, Please Do a updated video so people like me can make a true updated choice Thanks
Why are you using the old wired freedom? Their current freedom model is much better.
Because comparing a 45A controller bike with dual battery to a 40A single battery bike makes no sense
@ElectricAllWheel Lame you always put current versions against each other.
@sammyjames1929 luckily we don’t operate by whatever rules you decided would force you to make this comment. Thanks for watching!
@ElectricAllWheel Extremely Lame and you know it. Look at your comments. I think more agree with me than you. Maybe go get some of your friends to trash my comments so you look better. You'll probably just shadow ban or delete my comment anyway. You got thin skin because you know I'm right.
I emailed Wired a question about their Freedom's geometry early last week. I did send the email at about 10:30 that night, so didn't expect a reply for a day or two. 9:30am the next morning I had a reply with the info I asked for. At that same time I emailed Ecells the same questions. A week later? Still no reply. Worse? There is NO geometry info on the Ecells website (I'm a much larger than most guy, so that is important to me). Wired has some, but is missing a few important measurements which is why I asked. I don't do phone calls, because I want answers in writing. Kind of makes me sad because I like what I see from Ecells, although......Wired seems to be WAY easier to make changes to because nothing is proprietary. I'm going to send another email later today. We'll see if Ecells bothers to answer, but they have not made a great first impression.
Wired does use more general components, we would agree. 2 pin Julet, XT90, etc.
I wish we could assist you further. You may try
Calling e-Cells and asking for an email real time.
Wired did respond to us quickly just as you described.
I hope you manage to get the information you seek.
The video is a genuine as we can get and we hope that it doesn’t portray any misrepresentation.
Same for me. I emailed Wired for some technical data, and I got the answers in 11 minutes at 7 PM.
Both company makes very good bikes. The wired freedom is putting out more power and is faster. I have purchased bikes from both of these companies. I like the wired so much, so I bought another one. I think wired customer service is much better.
1) What was the motor temp after you guys finished the race in the ending clip of the video?!
2) Can you provide a max motor temp that you would consider being safe, but that you wouldnt feel comfortable going above?
3) Can you refer anyone with the current generation wired freedom to any specific aftermarket rear rack that is available on the market now, which would be fairly easy to install on the current generation wited freedom?
My 24 Wired Freedom does 39 mph throttle only, level street with my 200lb self.
Came close to pulling the trigger on the Wired Freedom right around the time when all the hooplah came out about a Ecells "clone" of the Freedom. Thats when I started looking into Ecells more. I finally went for the 5 Star. I never rode a Wired but I can say I'm totally happy with the 5 Star. Rides beautifully, the power is astonishing. It takes me up the steepest hills faster than my 750w mid drive bike does. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
Wired fanboys have thin skin…😂. I’m looking to get a Wired myself, but I’m not gonna tattoo the logo on my ass and send Christmas cards to the company. 😂
Good vid.
😂😂😂
I'm in Tampa myself, I own one that's pretty close to both of these. The Philodo H8... while it's a hard tail it matches both of these for acceleration, and is only 48 volts but will still hit 35 mph on full throttle
Im liking that philodo jumbo [the H8 too] but bigger "sounds" better lol
watching papa blue shirt ride his and he works on his too has me wanting one.
If they had a step thru Id likely have one, and prolly a ecells too, just a few dollars more gets several more things, but its not AWD like the philodo :)
Love your channel.
Well, neither of those bikes is quite as fast as my Kepler ($1499 delivered) but I'm now in the market for dual suspension, dual motor, dual battery so it'll be between the Wired Predator or the E-cells AWD Monstar. Probably the Monstar.
Another Sham Ecells video, so funny, Ecells has wobble and you covered it up.
Thus far, we have found the most petulant of all e-bike loyalists to advocate for WIRED.
Once again, we are NOT affiliated to either company and it’s insane to be expected to compare two opposing generations of e-bikes.
ALL of this was explained in the video. It is EXTREMELY inappropriate that adults would act this way in a comment section of a TH-cam video.
Ecells is a joke. They buy reviews. I had two bikes on order for almost 3 months and they still couldn't provide an eta. Had to file a dispute with my credit card to get my money back even after talking to the owner and him agreeing to a refund.
@@gregb878 well they didn’t buy this review so don’t cast your negativity here
@@ElectricAllWheel That proves they did buy your review. I want everyone to know the truth about how I was treated and apparently you do not. Unlike you I can prove everything. David know this as well which is why he doesn't give me what is owed.
@@gregb878Same here. Glad I saw this because I filed a complaint with my CC too and will be filing one with the BBB. Looks like he is running a Ponzi scheme using our money to fulfill prior orders. By the time you get yours there are so many others promised and waiting until he catches up. But he never does. Maybe so many wouldn't cancel if he was actually an honest businessman and not just making believe he is God fearing. Always question when they use Jesus or God in their ads... It's sad but a telltale sign and purely disgusting. I am not litigious but in this case it might be warranted.
Whoa! I knew this hugely polarizing comparision would bring out hurt egos. I think a lot of it is sales remorse on their part. I have the same 5 star bike and have loved it and rode it a ton. 3,000 miles and counting!
he's comparing a previous generation wired to a current generation ecells. just like cars, bikes evolve quick. ecells is still a very nice bike and great value!
Wait until you grade the front fork, AMAZING!
Wheres all the options that you said Ecells offered. Did they change that? All I see avail is the dual battery option.
ECells has since changed their options availability. All optional equipment must be requested via phone call
Regarding the rear DNM shock:
I reached out to wired and they didn't want to help me with my rear shock that unfortunately was a dud. I was forced to reach out to DNM directly and the people at DNM were so available and ready to help. They built the shock in about 3 days and literally had the shock shipped to me from Taiwan overnight. I was amazed that the shock didn't have to set in customs for a week before I received it!
Super job on this review. I am glad I own the 5-Star too!!
pretty bad when the music is louder than the voice.
as for the comparison? uh be honest - the better build quality speaks for itself.
Ive seen both ebikes sitting still, as well as in motion.
after months in my opinion the ecells is built better.
the wired might be [well is] a "little" faster, but is also a little lighter.
* both have the same nylon/steel gears.
[most 1k+ quality motors should have those] (its the current standard)
the AR kepler has them too. as a few more do & I see that we can buy them for our hub motors too, its an option.
the wired is more spindly [it is a lighter more svelte ebike] It has its purpose and market for those that want that. it is quick and nimble, it looks to handle well.
the 5 star is just (slightly) heavier, better built for stout use, So a tiny bit slower on the flats, but on a hill climb it is a tiny bit ahead of the wired [by a little]
the 5 star got warm on the limb, the wired got warm n slowed, the rider stopped to let it cool.
[from my perspective that might be why the wired was a little slower on the climb] still a deciding factor.
the controller placement and temperature is a deciding factor.
both are "kind of" close in the speed, but for me the low end torque wins.
just that little bit extra up a hill or off the line is my happy place.
Im not in a race to get top speed wins.
I am more of a type that wants to get there in comfort and feel good and safe, so low n slow for my win ;)
for the short thought: on one hand you have a horse - it goes fast until your on a trail with hills.
on the other you have a mule. slower, but steady, secure so you know you will arrive safe and sound.
the mule is a steady ride, not as high maintenance as the horse, not as easily spooked.
each has pros and cons
for me? Ill pick the safe steady ride [I prefer mountain trails n roads]
the QC on the wired front axle?
it is NOT the spindly unsafe skewer [Ive got those] they are quicker to break.
the current wired has the QC lever on a thru axle - it has a "nut" on one end, But a true strong thru axle.
a nice touch Ive seen on many High speed & Mountain ebikes & emotos & a few motorcycles where the makers agree it is a much safer thing to have than the old skewer type.
it is quicker [quick release] to get the tire off, buut (?)
[again I have a few of these skewers with the QC on ebikes & bikes] yup not so safe as a real axle.
I agree [Im old school, A motorbike rider] an axle with nuts are best,
and those forks that have the bolts to secure the axle is even better.
simple and safe. You can "see" it. [my opinion anyway] :)
I have been shopping ebikes as I want one for the off road & my mtn roads.
I keep comparing them to the 5 star and it might cost a few hundred more, buut it has more.
so more value, for that few hundred $ more.
the "spacer" and bolt in the rear suspension on the ecells is something thats better too.
the brackets (rack) are thicker too. that lill bit adds to stability [just saying the obvious]
I see several "cheaper] 1k + motor ebikes, but the quality of the ecells is what I come back to.
in my book? a better build is what I want.
100% E Cell 5 Star is best because of the quality of the bike. And the price is cheaper free shipping total price is $2,195.00 with single battery only though. And The double wall rims protect against flat tires and the gold color is bad ass. And you have option for HUGE motorcycle headlight! The newer version of wired is faster but has wobble in high speeds.
Looking to possibly get the e-cells... but my only issue is HOW THE HELL do you pick the options on the dang website? For instance... say I pick the dual star... when ordering I have NO WAY to pick color, add a torque sensor.... or even tell if it comes with one? HAHA.... it's possibly the worst site I ever used... do you need to call them or something? It's 2025 right? haha...
Most requests now must run through customer service via phone call. They have remove option selection from their site unfortunately
You gotta real good point. The rear rack mounting determines this decision unfortunately
He was focused on that rack as a selling point roffl & talking to the owner means diddly squat to me,I want fast customer service to help with a problem, the rear rack problem only matters if u have a fat wife that sits on it
After watching several of your videos and others I was on the board between wired and esell, made my decision to go with the wired Cruiser actually just got delivered, I will tell you this when I spoke to e cells I was very disappointed with the lady I talked to she was a smart-ass right from the get-go and did not feel like she wanted to answer any questions so you can take all of this customer service stuff that you're pitching hopefully someone else has better experience but for me absolutely not!!! When you go on here and rant and Rave about how they will pick up the phone and answer your questions and talk to you definitely not the experience I had, after the third question I had asked I seen that this conversation wasn't going anywhere nothing but a smartass smart ass
Yo, this is crazy!
I live in Las Vegas and I called e cells in Pahrump. This lady answered she was weird as hell and was giving me mixed information and kind of had a little bit of an attitude. It was probably the same lady. I’m gonna be honest. It turned me off big time.. whoever that chick is, she needs to get it together because she is costing the company sales
@32:57 it looked like the freeride could also have a mount there. These bikes reslly so look a like. Its really bizarre. As if they both order components together in bulk
Once video backed off from the bike, end of the video .. gold shone thru...not bad at all.
The E-Cells 5 star is on PRE-ORDER right now with a new design.
Careful, you may incite a riot 😎
Rename your “BIAS” video . I’m Bias for ECELLS
not waiting months for a bike. Ecells sucks on delivery. But Their bikes are wonderful for sure. But I refuse to wait a life time for one
Hey man, great review! A few months ago I purchased an Ecells Step Star, then more recently a Wired Cruiser. I did a review of these two bikes here: th-cam.com/video/8XyUEvjJ-jM/w-d-xo.html
Very Good video, William. Your video is much more honest and non Bias. The Better Business Bureau Rating says it all.
Bias showing the old wired freedom?
No. Showing comparable bikes. Why would we compare a 45A controller to a 40A controller?
This is a rhetorical question meant to stop the onslaught of irrelevance.
Yes
@@rambojohn7118 Agree. There was some good comparison between the two but the bias and pro eCells bias was apparent. I have a Furious Road Warrior and so I have no view on eCells or Wired but this video came across very one-sided.
@@ElectricAllWheel This is a 4 day old video? Why are you comparing a Wired that is no longer for sale with the Ecells? Is it also a model that no one can buy anymore? If so, it is mostly an irrelevant video, IMO.
You have some good points but it is too bad you are so bias and not more objective. I'm a new subscriber but I'm not sure for how long if you can't do honest reviews and comparisons. Very disappointed and feel I have waster too much time with you.
Is this for real? 🙄
Have you tried the wired predator yet?
Not yet. It’s no longer available on their site, unfortunately. But if we can we will
@ElectricAllWheel I did notice that. I want to get one. Thanks for the content.
@@ElectricAllWheel its available now if you call them and make purchase by phone dude
@ we called. They are out. No chance until April at the earliest
@@ElectricAllWheel I was a little disappointed that the nearly $4000 (after tax and shipping) Predator had about the same top end speed as the $2,444 Freedom? At least the Monstar was capable of 45 mph in about 10 seconds with a top speed of 50 mph.( I got to ride that bad boy) and for $3,400 after the $100 discount. Think maybe I will wait for the next gen 72V AWD bad boy to come out next.
Haha good way to compare an older model of the freedom…. Just got my dual battery freedom and I LOVE it. For the price I’ll pick it over e cell any day. And ecell has great customer service? lol what a joke of a video.
What e-Cells e-bike do you have or did you have?
I still have yet to see anybody jump a wired bike…
Great music

🍿 👀 why are grown adults getting so upset over a bike comparison? At least you have one or the other. If you don't want it send it to me. I'm using a chinesium hiboy P6 gutted out and totally rewired.
Hilarious. 😂
@@Ae073001Yes it looks like garbage. But performs like a monster. 😉
The issue is business practice not the bike.
When you have gears and mini bike power levels,,no motorbike experience is a serious liability on these higher juice machines.
There is no longer a 2 year warranty on the Ecells. That was canceled. Special order bikes are no longer being taken.
i'm in Chicago, ANYONE with an ecells five star is welcome to do a head to head with my Wired Freedom 2024+ model that i've had since July. Acceleration, top speed, mileage reliability (i have 1800 miles as of now). let's go at it and have some fun not this biased review with an old model. apples to apples gents!
lol. 2024+ Freedom vs single battery e-Cells 5-Star is NOT an APPLES to APPLES review.
Nothing says I want to ensure victory by putting two unevenly matched bikes head to head.
Good grief🙄
@@ElectricAllWheel at the date you released this video the updated Wired had already been available for 7 months sir
Waiting on my wired cruiser to be delivered, the ecells with the dual battery is around 500 dollars more total than the wired and also has less power
At the time the two bikes were produced those models were and still are the equivalent spec competitors, so I’m unsure what it is you’re trying to prove.

I have a 2000 watt 23 amp dual motor dual suspension Keteles Pro for $1,200 with free shipping. These bikes are over priced. I would love the 3000 watt bikes but they are also triple the price I paid.
seriously no comparison in quailty

Torque sensor. Blurplul, almost black rims. Gold(ish?) Is tacky.
Tacky with love 😜
Escape electric bikes also use the same frame. Their bikes are better than ecells and wired...
We will need to check them out. How’s the customer base? This seems treacherous lol
Not only do they use the same frame they claim to have been using it before wired or ecells.
@@Pidgeys can you share where this info came from? I looked them up and it appears they have only been in business for roughly a year. Even in there BIO, they state that they bought there first ebikes in 2019 so that they could pull a trailer with their adult autistic child in. Why has nobody else noticed that the wired freedom rear rack that you get from the current generation is not the same rear rack that is shown in the photo of the wired freedom and wired cruiser on wireds webpage.
Look for yourself! Its false advertising if you ask me!
I don't know why they had to change it, but look for yourself and you'll clearly see that the rear rack has been moved 3 to 4 inches rearwards on the bike that they shipped to us owners, compared to the bikes shown in the photos of wired ebikes website.
You know, the bikes we thought we were purchasing?!
Moving the rack rearward is a big deal when you factor in the weight of the rear battery being attached.
I spent an hour watching this and now if anybody asks me the 2 cardinal questions, I won't be able to answer...
Range and price? Anybody? Thanks🙂
Another Ecells troll, you compared an older model Wired to a newer model Ecells, Bogus comparison, Ecells has the worst customer service, good luck getting parts, they are always back ordered for months, the newest Wired has everything you described on the Ecells and had first before Ecells. Wired will beat Ecells with throttle only, you guys never give up another sham video.
This is no “you guys” thing. Keep this up and you will be blocked. The two bikes were compared as the 40A versions.
It is not practical to compare a 45A controller to a 40A controller.
The bikes are the same generation.
Mind yourself. Be kind or be blocked.
This video is not sponsored. We are currently NOT affiliated with either company. We are well aware of ALL versions of each bike and this was explained in the video. So please adjust your comments.
I have a late spring 24 e-cells 5 star and I got an older in stock model which has all of these features. The newer ones are even better. At the time I bought mine, wired freedom didn't even mention these charges were in the works!

@@ElectricAllWheel good block then that's what Ecells does on their Facebook. I do not care as I will never wait months for a bike

You don’t need to make nonsensical comments on every video and comment on the channel.
Keep it up and you will be blocked. Not because of e-bikes, but because you’re being ridiculous
Hey Matt, I told you that when you ride a five star, you would love it, I am going to send you a picture of my bad ass bike, I gave 1700. 00 right when the tariffs , it was going to be 60.00 extra for the gold wheels on my black bike , with the tariffs was 300 extra, so I didn’t get the wheels, I will send you pictures, you will love how I did my bike, I got 130 miles out of one dual battery charge,
So Loud!
I own a "Direct Drive Gearless" hub drive e bike with over 3000 miles on the odometer. When I hear those noisy geared hub motors I can't imagine them lasting as long as my Gearless Hub motor. 🤨
How to put this to you buddy but you're way late to the game with this information I watched it for a little bit thinking there was something new
This comment proves that you didn’t watch it because if you had, you would know this was addressed
Loll@@ElectricAllWheel
It might be old to u but some of us havent heard it so yea
Please forgive all my comments, but i commented at different times while watching the video, and i assure you (myself) this is my final comment...
I swear!
Anyways, I wish there was a way that current generation wired freedom owners could sell their front or rear wired ebike batteries, or do what I would like to do personally, and sell or trade my rear battery for another front battery. I want to do this, mainly because i use my front battery about 3x more than i ever use my rear battery, so it barely gets any use at all! My rear battery has probably only gone through 4-5 full charge cycles all together.
Im not sure how to go about finding someone who might be interested in such a trade, if anyone!
Wired goes 41 with throttle only sounds like a menu speed turn down , sham video , Always trying to cheat.
All the people saying that’s an old model Wired even with upgrades why would I pay $500 more for a Wired? I mean $200 plus for shipping vs free? And taxes vs no taxes? The difference between the two is nothing. And why all the defensiveness over Wired? Why do people need to be defend the purchase? Or take it period some one likes a E Cell.
You still owe taxes, one you pay up front, the other your remit when you file your tax form. Unless you cheat on your taxes
@ please enlighten me as to where I would pay taxes on my federal return for a bicycle? I’ve purchased a great many things a lot more expensive than my bike and no where was I asked to pay taxes on them. It’s simple E Cells does not charge taxes or shipping Wired does. Decision made
@@alaska1girls nearly every state has a use tax as an alternative to a sales tax unless you happen to live in the few states that have no sales tax. Just cause you are not paying the tax upfront doesn't mean your state doesn't want it's cut.
@@DestinationFawked Ok so to make myself clear, I PAY NO SUCH TAX. Im not sure i've ever heard of a “use” tax for a bicycle? Are there use taxes for skis then? Surf boards?
@@alaska1girls use tax applies to all purchases made out of the state you reside in if your state charges a sales tax / use tax. For example PA has a 6% sales tax and a 6% use tax. Let's say I buy a bicycle in Delaware which has no sales tax to save money. That does not matter legally for someone in PA and every other state that has a sales / use tax you must report the purchase when you file your state income taxes and pay the 6% tax. Many people believe that is BS and hardly anyone actually does what they are legally required to do but by law even out of state purchases require tax be paid to the state to which you reside should your state have a use tax which the majority do.
I just watched citizen cycles video where he's selling his front wheel conversion kit, and all I could think about was how mad wired is probably getting at him for selling. Literally something that makes a wired freedom just like the predator that they've sold out of already!
It is obvious that citizen cycle is wired e-bikes mouthpiece to say the least.
the predator is much faster! citizen cycle says that motor kit only gets you up to original top speed quicker and does not make bike go faster! I will not buy citizen cycle motor kit because is about $1000
@royglover415 I haven't seen anyone go faster than about 42 mph with the predator. That's about the same top speed as the regular wired freedom
So what?
I am not waiting months for a bike. E-cells sucks on delivery. But Their bikes are wonderful for sure. But I refuse to wait a life time for one. E-Cells should always at least have one of their awesome bikes in stock.
Always until someone like us wants to buy it
How much did ecells pay for this one-sided review
This question was answered in the video. The answer is, they didn’t pay. We purchased this e-bike and stand by our comments made during that time.
Perhaps you might benefit from watching again!
I'm not being mean, but objective when I say...
If you weren't biased in your review, you would have switched bikes & let Jeremy ride the E Cells.
That's how honest, unbiased reviews play out on other channels. They swap bikes half way through riding.
Do you really want us to believe that Jeremy weighs less than you?
I don't have a horse in this race but it doesn't take a genius to see this is a bias probably paid advertisement..it's unfortunate youtube has become nothing but infomercials and it's not just ebikes but almost every item that's hot at the moment 😢
Is it though? Because we paid for both bikes. Spoke about the circumstances and addressed the issues.
This is not an infomercial, but thanks for kicking up the algorithm for us.
Thanks for trying, and thanks for watching!
This isn't a fair comparison,#1 E Cells is directly behind you #2 the Wired is the 2023 model not the 2024 model. #3 If you check with the BBB E cells has a terrible customer rating compaired to Wired. #4 When you explain the nylon steel gear combo you emphasize that it's built essentially for "E Cells" 60 volt system but fail to mention Wired has the exact same thing. Never had an issue with the quick release on the Wired. Yes there were issues with the "2023" Wired freedom rack & mid suspension system, also the controller could have been positioned better but if this would have been a fair comparison you would have used the "2024" model where none of these mentioned issues exist any longer. E Cells had to have sponsered this! I've trusted all your videos up until now.
All of these late comments were addressed in the video.
It’s a shame that this is where you draw the line yet you don’t seem to have paid attention to EVERYTHING that was said in the video.

Ecells is no better my friend. They make you pay $500 when you cancel your order? Huh? Then they make promises about delivery at Xmas or full refund and then when they don't deliver and you cancel they tell you that Dave the CEO has to call you and then he never does. Call me for what? Just cancel the order and refund me. Also employees can't cancel? Why have them answer the phones then? Just a facade. Was going to get the Monstar, was pumped, but they are playing with me so I am cancelling. Paid in full, too. No call, nothing. Also Dave has been talking about selling the business and then rescinded prob because people started asking for cancellations. Wonder why? Who wants a bike that's not backed? No one. Ecells also has an F in BBB. Wires a B+. Says a lot. Be careful. When he says in stock he means at Chinese factory. If he doesn't cancel my order soon I am reporting him and having me legal team litigate.
@miketysonsbrother Never said that they were. But why do they have so many people talking them up both eCells and Wired? Are they all being paid or given free bikes to do so?

I own and E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown 2 wheel drive, 2 battery, dual suspension cargo mountain bike (400 pound load limit). I SERIOUISLY doubt that WIRED builds any of its bike with the design and build quality of an E-CELLS.
Does WIRED have welded gussets on the top frame bar? No. Does WIRED have 4 bosses on the head set tube to mount a basket securely? No. Does WIRED have the same quality of shocks as E-CELLS? No. i could go on but you get the idea.
