There is so much symbolism within NF's songs & videos - and so many "Easter Eggs" that appear from one video to another. Just to explain a little about some of what's showing up in this song. The black balloons symbolize burdens. Nate wears black which does represent negativity or fear. He is working on his mental health and learning to "let go" of his burdens. "The Search" album is NF's 5th studio album released before the album HOPE. At 3:27 NF says, "I'm Looking for the Map to Hope, you seen it?" (my favorite verse in this song). So we know what The Search is for, - The map to HOPE. The shopping cart is another "Easter Egg" and what i believe to be a sort of mobile jail cell. The people dressed in white, and the bundle of white clothing signifies those who have learned how to heal from their burdens enough that they are finally able to move on to HOPE - where NF is seen wearing all white for the first time. I'm sure there are many more that i've not touched on and others can share with you - or you'll discover along the journey!

A black balloon by the trash cans (black balloon represents his burdens per search single) 2 In the burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. 3. He had outcast written on his name tag in the janitor scene which references his Outcast song. 4. He had his moments album CD in car scene Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song. Search single also connects to Hope.
