It’s not that anybody over looked it, it’s just that the effect of his firing hasn’t hit us yet

It’s gonna hit hard and I’m scared

While his firing is very saddening, destiny has a variety of other composers who have made amazing and iconic parts of the soundtrack, it's not like salvatori was the only composer, even after he was fired, bungie is still stacked with top tier composers.

I agree and was going to add that to this video, however something I may touch on later is vision. Even when Marty was fired in D1 you could tell in the music something was lost there, he clearly had majority input. I'm just hoping that whatever we end up losing this time around doesn't ruin the atmosphere completely. No doubt the others are talented but we will see soon who was truly steering the ship with their vision this entire time.

Im wondering if he has already composed music for the DLCs to come, and with that Bungie had fired him as they have plenty of content from him to last awhile. While it does suck he was fired, we will still hopefully enjoy his amazing creations

What I'm thinking is that he definitely has music in the pipeline ahead of time which is great, hopefully atleast into the first part of D3

Destiny won't ever be the same without Salvatori. The music after Final Shape has a lot to live up to for whoever is working on that now. So much remains so unknown now (after so bloody long of things being too predictable!) so as you stated: time will tell. Glad to see you're back after so long!

I’m really hoping they don’t give up on new music altogether and not hire someone else. Thanks for having me back! Appreciate ya

@@PocketTuna Hoping that best case scenario that he had someone ready who remains still to work on the music composing. Going to be hard to match with the likes of Forge Ahead or when beating the shit out of Crota. Honestly sat and waited to hear from you about what happened and when it hits everyone, it'll hit harder than what a ton of bricks can do alone.

I'm sure Bungie had their reasons for the lay offs. It's so easy to sit on the consumerism high horse and call Bungie stupid for laying off people when you don't know the reasons behind it, or what caused them to do it in the first place.

All the music is already done, why pay someone to sit there and get paid to rotate on their thumbs…as I said, you guys are daft.

Let's just pretend Bungie doesn't have an entirely new game, more content for D2 and an unannounced game (possibly D3) coming out. Plenty of music to make.
