Not gonna lie I was tensed up when you started yanking on the grill!
LED replacement bulbs don't melt snow.
They also scatter the light badly, since the reflectors aren't designed for directional LEDs.

Sean, you may want to think about using a Camera Tripod with adjustable height so you can use both hands for working and shooting videos..A lot ofTH-camrs do that and it works great for them

From what I've seen in other videos they reach down with a long flat head screwdriver to release the clips holding the grill on the bottom rather than simply forcibly yanking on it.
I tried that. Actually caused more stress to the part.
