Waited so long for more dome keeper, all to see a new character that melts the egg's brain. It truly was worth the wait
Was really hoping the new mining would fix his psycho mining…
It’s sad because he’ll eventually just say “if you wanted me to play the new character then they should have made it fun” because he can’t understand it
I mean what is this character good at? It looks like just the engineer with extra steps
@@MehYam2112 in binding of Isaac every character other than Isaac is more complicated than Isaac.. the new character is fun, not just mindlessly digging with the engineer.
@@canoilas7894 yeah, but in Isaac, Eve, Judas, and half the other characters work like glass cannons, or have neat item synergies, or transformative play styles like the Forgotten, Azazel, Bethany, Lost, etc. Just trying to understand the fun in this new character. Are there different components?

The assessor especially benefits from organized mining, so NL playing this character is like a fire type taking a dip in the ocean. Worst compatibility imaginable

Honestly NL might not be jiving with this character, but the character almost convinces me to get the game, and I hate the like timing based resource games. Reflect in particular looks so fun if done right, best mining in a game perhaps.
As if that Bemeal thing wouldn't devolve into a false valor "oh look at me eat my struggle food, hashtag Bernie, economy, yada yada".
Anyone read the books NL talks about? Is there actual merit to them or are they the pseudo-scientific trends-as-causal-relationships type "behavioral analysis" books?

NL what do you mean no one would upgrade angel they're amazing and often it's the only 1 drop being run other than Nova in destruction decks so what else would they play aside from just passing?
Hood is definitely a one drop you can and should play over Angel. It's a later pull but very good for the deck.
@@Kestral287 I'm still playing in the kiddie Pool 2 and haven't gotten to play with / against hood yet but in pool 1/2 Angel is a good 1 drop for destruction decks.
Sunspot is the goated 1 drop, even in destroy decks
Sunspot is definitely not great in your Killmonger deck please do not do that.

Please try to learn how to use reflection in the assessor. We all agree with that subscriber who was in pain I can assure you. You located the final relic 20+ minutes before the run finished due to ineffective mining

The funny thing is, I've wanted to get this game forever but now that it's on sale... the newest update, with the new character, somehow sucked out my energy for the game.
I listen to this, I don't watch. The gameplay is too painful.

It's not NLs fault this character is awful and gimmicky.. they tried too hard to make simple mining unique just for the sake of being unique. Better to improve combat.
-2 assessor is an incredibly good time and the creativity is great. Not a playstyle that everyone would like but I am loving it.
