The tree is actually capable of growing multiple types of resources, I was positively surprised. It will grow 1 triangle every 3 waves, 1 water (I think) every 2 waves, and a square every wave. If the tree is triangle-square combined, it will eventually grow 2 squares each wave and 1 triangle every 3 waves, which is probably the best outcome. As the condenser can take care of overcharging and providing extra water.

18:15 as someone who really likes the early Rush albums, I feel personally attacked. My favorite album is probably 2112 with Fly By Night or Moving Pictures as close 2nds, but I like just about every album up till whatever came after Grace Under Pressure. And don’t even lie, Working Man is a bop. Hell, their entire first album is amazing even if isn’t similar to their later albums.
As someone who has never listened to anything by Rush, I agree. NL's hot takes must be stopped!

repellant is the better version of shield and orchard combined. Giving you more time to mine is good for literally every aspect of the game, and since you can't take damage if there are no enemies, it's kind of like a shield too.

Regarding your antipathy for lift. I don't think it's as bad as you make out if properly managed, but that's neither here nor there. Yes, teleporter is better, BUT once a map reaches a certain size, you really do need one or the other. Without SOMETHING to expedite resource removal from the depths of hell, you're relying on speed and carrying capacity, plus maybe repellent. Which - compared to lift, even if you hate it - is not optimal and leaves you struggling, spending at least half the wave traveling for one load, tops.

I did prefer the old naming scheme though, it's impossible to figure out what order the episodes are in now, I never know which one I'm on in normal times. It's worse on this series since there's even been out of order bespoke youtube episodes interlaced with the stream ones, really really miss the episode number

I am only commenting because I hate the thumbnail being slightly tilted, as I am now.
The laser isn't bad. It just really falls flat in comparison to the sword which is broken.
It's crazy how good the sword is, it doesn't even have typical weaknesses like you'd assume it would, it's just objectively better at everything it does. It can reflect attacks at all times and go sicko mode to completely clear whatever the fuck is on top of the dome, and once you have upgrades for it you can just start shooting spears at monsters which is just as good as the laser.
Sword is slightly harder to use, but it's so much more effective than laser - which doesn't mean the laser is bad, it just means the Sword is that good.
I agree, but I do find it funny that Chris Pratt not being the guy is what most people are saying, and what most people said about Ben Affleck as Batman. Gotta admit, after seeing Batfleck in action, I think he was probably my favourite live action Batman, even if Batman v Superman wasn't the best movie. My Caveat is that Jack Black as Bowser was awesome in the trailer, I think he's gunna kill it.

Which one might you be referring to?
How do people get 45k? I've gotten up to 7.4k with Laser and Repellant. Single Super Laser is much stronger than double laser. Teleporter is Goated. Condenser/Prode is what you should spend your second slot on maybe converter (but it's too slow imo). Everything else should be shredded unless you get the option of lift with your first gadget. The last drill upgrade you want to get is 40 iron (squares). You can mine all the tiles in the game with that drill strength.
Upgrade path for laser dome: Carrying Capacity -> Drill strength -> laser damage upgrade -> Try and get repelant upgrade with your first 2 water -> Health when needed -> Damage reduction -> Laser Speed -> play it by ear :you want to max out your defense/offense as long as you can mine easily. I went debilitating mist teleporter+condenser when I got 7.4k. Wither doesnt hit all the enemies on the wave at on later waves so it's definately not the one you want to go with.
