I feel like the helicopters are a trap, and they're just an expensive distraction from getting more upgraded turrets that are probably more powerful
that's what i've been thinking the whole time! i'm like: matt, UOGRADE YOUR TOWERS AND PLACE MORE TOWERS INSTEAD OF BUYING THOSE CHOPPERS!!!
he wouldn't need any troops if he upgraded the towers properly since the laser akd minigun towers are soo powerful
yeah but they can move while turets can't so both are situational but I feel like turets are 80% of the time betrer
not quite the helicopters are a way to cheese the game and get an early win it's just that he didn't do it

Suggestion… when you have the chance, maximize the shots a tower gets off by covering intersections of pathways. 15:10 see those 3 tower foundations on the inside of the first turn? They get longer shot times, making them a priority (in my methodology - not the only way.)
i mean i get him, that he uses different towers for content, but there were so many bunched up slow enemies, a mortar would have been perfect.
right. i'm like buy a mortar.. keeps buying choppers and getting them killed cuz he is soo dumb and can't think not to use them on spitters and let the towers deal with them. such a brit
13:10 Interesting recipe... the "buttermilk" sugar "cookie" seems to be lacking any buttermilk or and sort of flour... it's just sugar, cinnamon, and shortening, lol

The snipers seem to do the stunning thing that the Cannons do they might be helpful for keeping big enemies in spots where everything else is
The most unrealistic part of this game was the cat eating dry food while there was meat on the floor all over the place.
And the cat should be interrupting the battle to lay down on the path or to knock things aside. Or both.
I had a cat that really liked dry food and olives for some reason. :D He only licked the sauce of the wet foods and left the meaty bits basically untouched. Fish made him go insane no matter if it was frozen or fresh and he enjoyed hunting and eating squirrels. :D Damn I miss that guy...

of all the crap going on, THAT is the most unrealistic? hahahahah. anyway, this is a low budget early access games without the resources to do that. BUT, you're right that the cate and other stuff needs to interupt is some fun way. cheers.

This game reminds me of my childhood. We played with army men but the old matchbox cars army toys and micromachines were much cooler. I had all the matchbox toys while my friend collected all the micromachines... his parents had a rock garden in the front yard and we made our own Warhammer 40k style rules to play (though back then we had never heard of warhammer).
Fun simpler times.
yeah, I had a system of throwing rocks or rubber bands against my GI Goe figures that I had setup on two opposing sides. I'd line up from the perspective of each soldier, lay on the ground, and shoot turn based,(though I didn't know about Jagged Alliance turn based pc games yet). I even had different levels of heavier ammo based on if it was a tank or gun guy shooting. Lots of fun.
