Hard to scout the Tennessee offense. It's entirely WR screens and choice routes. You can certainly see the deep ball accuracy from Hooker and the velocity on his throws with how quick those screen passes get there. He has his fair share of misses, especially at the end of the 1st half. Hyatt is the clear star of this video, that 45 yard TD at 1:32 he gained about 2-3 yards of separation while the ball was in the air.
This is the definition of a QB friendly offense. Throw screens half the time, take deep shots on the go off the play action with elite speed wrs several times a game, and throw a couple slants and comebacks. Low risk throws, especially when wide splits and good receivers create easy separation. Can you imagine the stats stroud would put up in this system? He'd seriously have burrow type numbers.
Watch this through the lens of “how well can he execute the plan”. If a good play caller uses good concepts, how well does the QB do, executing the script the coach is telling him. I challenge you to watch his feet the whole video. Decisive. Quick. Don’t focus on anything else and you will see a QB who can move, improvise, escape, but also show how confident the player is by how their feet look. Imagine him being able to learn what the game plan is with an NFL play caller. You telling me this kid wouldn’t tear it up with KOC calling the offense? Vikings would be a great place for him. Watch the feet and you will see how he looks when he is rattled. And how quick he can regain his confidence after a poor drive.
QB Prospects Ranking 2023 Class: 1. Stroud 2. Richardson 3. Young 4. Levis 5. Hooker After 3 I don't see much potential, I haven't watched Bennett individually yet but I think he has a chance to be a purdy type of QB, especially if he was more mature.

yuck, all over the place with his accuracy, two fumbles, doesn't read the field, shotty mechanics. I don't see it with him.
