    I absolutely love your well-researched, high-level overviews of games and positions, instead of blindly showing 20 variations without explanation.

    • @alephnull4044
      @alephnull4044 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Me too, though I wouldn't say instead of blindly showing many variations without explanation, since I don't know many chess YTers who do that. I would say instead of just clicking through the moves with hardly any commentary and no commentary more insightful than pointing out an attacked piece etc, since many certainly do that.

      Jerry does a good job, he is at least a titled player. So many sub-2000 rated players doing these videos that can't really explain like titled YTubers such as Jerry and Zibbit do.

      Oh, I didn't think he had a title, due to the "Near Master" (NM) label. Just kidding ;) I know what NM really means.

    Since I am French defence player, there is a lot of holes if white play aggressively enough.
    But still I love the style of French defence. :)

    • @muhammedberkonder7802

    • @ThePolitzer
      @ThePolitzer 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      becaus of mate in 12. just an example of how you could mate black:
      1. Nxe5 2. Qxe5+ Kg6 3. Rxe7 Rg8 4. Qxd5 Qxe7 5. Rxe7
      Bf5 6. Qf7+ Kg5 7. h4+ Kh6 8. Qxf5 Rxg2+ 9. Kxg2
      Rg8+ 10. Kf1 Rg7 11. Qf4+ Kh5 12. Rxg7 h6 13. Qg4#
      and Qc3 is mate in 3:
      1. Qc3 2. Rxe7+ Kf6 3. Ng4+ Bxg4 4. Rf7#
