Go to a Mexican store or any store that sells you freshly cut ham, they’ll sell it in pounds, so like 1/2 a pound

I do this with bacon. I like bacon, but its expensive and the best way to save is buy in bulk. So freezing it in batches makes it cheaper and easier.
