If Pixel 9 looks like an iPhone I might as well buy an iPhone. I can already tell iPhone 16 and Samsung S25 are going to destroy this Pixel.
Just because they will have a faster soc doesn't mean the overall experience will be "better". The current iphone and galaxy have faster chips now than the pixel 9. In day to day smartphone use most people wouldn't notice the difference...in general use the pixel keeps pace with those phones and that's why you won't notice and most people don't care that a galaxy or iPhone will score higher on a benchmark...if you're heavy into 3d games on your phone, yeah one of those would be better thought the pixel can game fine, just not as good

Previously when I bought the Pixel 8 pro 512 GB it was 250-300 dollars less than Samsung's Ultra and Apple's Max pro phone. The pricing of the pixel phones right now are within 100 dollars of each other if you look at 9 pro xl, S24 Ultra, and 15 pro Max at 256 GB and up. For the pricing, I'm going to expect flagship hardware to go with the software. Tensor is a mid level chipset until the release of the g5 from TSMC and not a watered down exynos chip.
@@Tkz9000 you do realize that as far as CPU, the tensor is basically just an underclock Snapdragon right? I mean they use pretty much same off the shelf Arm cores. Google just can't clock them as high due to Samsung's inferior manufacturing process. So yeah, things will be on even ground once Google moves to tsmc for the manufacturing of their chips.
S24 and s23 already destroy pixel.

It amazes me how much people obsess with speed, we are talking a fraction of a second. There is nothing the iPhone 15 pro can do twice as fast as the pixel 9 pro. Y’all buy the device that you need. I have the 15 pro 256gb and I still prefer my pixel 7 pro. It was a much better device. I have the iPhone for work and customer purposes.

the pixel 8a is a much better phone to try out android. You spend less in case you aren't happy with it. Low cost of entry

Dude it does have reverse wireless charging on the iPhone 15 but it's wire. The pixel has reverse wireless charging. I don't like the iphone because of that feature might as well get a charger and have it on my pocket.

Depends who you ask? I can get a pixel 9 pro XL 256 for $699 or 128gb for $599. The s24 ultra is not two times better phone. I can almost buy two for the price of one s24 ultra.
Common be serious, iPhone beats pixel in every stage. Never had any iPhone but instead I have a pixel 7 now, terrible phone, lag, frozen horrible battery. However if you want beautiful photos get one, very slow to get photos but amazing once you manage to do it
