    That is a pretty handy piece of equipment. Not sure I would secure it to my pack strap. Life saving stuff I like to keep on me incase I lose my pack for any reason

      That’s fair. The included clip does attach to most standard belts if that where you choose to mount it.

      Hi Eric, it’s definitely more bulky than no mount but it is what is necessary to meet the requirements that I have for the mount. For example, I could just use the clip that comes with the inReach but then the inReach would be swinging around on my backpack and when I want to look at the screen, I would need to unclip it. If I am putting the mount on a backpack where I will not be moving the mount frequently, then I would not use the Tek-Lok clip and would instead use the slim mount from Sara Prints 3D. This would remove most of the bulk. The Tek-Lok clip lets me easily move the mount between backpacks, belts, or other locations. Ultimately, I’ve found the mount to be great and it secures my inReach with fall protection while allowing easy access. Check it out if you’re interested.
