To those complaining about her use of colorful metaphors……. Etta James to this day has the nastiest mouth on stage I’ve ever heard or seen. I couldn’t repeat most of the things she said here even. That being said…… they are clearly doing everything right if that’s the reaction. Keep killing it. This is the type of jazz I want to play and the type of jazz that jazz needs. Hallelujah! The Dillinger escape plan of jazz.

I would think, then, that the sep up crew could have set up a canopy for them, where, at least, the canopy could block where the sunshine was coming down from, so they could be more comfortable, and be in, at least partial shade. She, esp. with her light skin, is going to get a sun burn!
At that age, tho' I didn't mind being in such heat as I do now.
That they're playing out in the heat, give them both loads of credit!!
Fantastic musicians - we are fortunate that the stars aligned to get these two together.

Let's see... 2 hands, 10 fingers, 1 pair of feet. That's 13 of the brains DOMi must have. And then one more for everything else regular people can do. These two play at such a high musical level that I cannot claim to even begin to understand what they're doing, like I can with most jazz and rock, in other words I can never predict the next thing they're going to play. Yet every time I see their names under a video, I automatically click it and I never stop halfway through. Anyone else ever heard of a keyboards-drums duo? Can't think of one.
