Love that they capture the very spirit of this masterpiece that was originally played by 4 of the best musicians of the last century whilst at the top of their game! Amazing
Yeah, she is just freakishly talented. She mentioned that there was a Herbie Hancock song with Paul Jackson on bass that made her want to play left-hand bass. It's just remarkable what she's capable of doing.
Great fluid technique, but boring scales and melodic development is not there. Justin lee Schultz, joey alexander, and jesus molina, matteo Mancuso are examples of young and extremely talented musicians who have gone past fast technique to having maturity in improvisation. People are inpressed with domi technique, which is fast and fluid, but the musicality is still missing. Its like a singer who can sing super high, but doesn't bring any emotion or meaning to a song, or a guitar shredder who plays fast but its just a series of scales and arpeggios strung together. I hope she matures in her playing as she ages. This is a common trait where a virtuosic talent becomes like a sideshow attraction, known only for playing fast.
if this were their own piece,, i'd "maybe" agree with you more,- but-,, it's a cover,-- Jaco was well represented by ,, "her left hand"..- which is in itself insane-,, and zawinul's scales -- expanded on,, or, Not ,depending on opinion ,, either way,, i can't think of One reason to say there's no emotion in how she plays-- , and lets not even get into the fact that they've exposed an entire "non-technically Musical" generation -- to ,, Musicality-- -- i got nothin' but admiration for these 2,, --

Just about the right length of tune. - not any Shorter.
They're certainly Erskine the right questions.@@wyrdstone85
You-Jaco-Beck-KidDOMi.
In addition to the remarks we've made, I must report that they are obviously devotees of W.C Handy and Georges Bidet...

Jaco would smile.💛🎶

There's almost no better tribute to Jaco's legacy of love than these two right here...
Traumhaft. Es macht viel Spaß, Euch zuzuhören.

I want DOMi to switch to that searing buzzy synth sound Zawinul uses. :) Havona is one of my favorite jazz pieces. These two are so talented.

最初ベース打ち込みかなと思ったが、2段目の黒いキーボードで左手で弾いてた!
JD tilting the hi-hats at the end because of the annoying overlap that happens is about the only thing I can replicate on my drums 😂
We need to design a better clutch.
I love Dino & RP Slick
Covers bands are all the rage these days
She has Pastorius in her left hand and Zawinul in her right hand. Both at once. Genius? To say the very least.
Somebody tell JD in 10 years time his back will be ruined if he continues like this

The show must go on.

In my country, would say, that who made or if you like so, invented this music, are listening to this, probably are rolling in their graves.
Joe Z with my right hand...Jaco with my left...no big thing 😳
Doom and JoJo Speck
JK Beck, author of Harry Potter
What is a Domi and why is it capitalized weird?
It is a very fast creature that is born to push keys
What is this??
Gotta love HUSo and WT HECK.
JD BECK
He changed it last night this video is actually ahead of everyone else’s knowledge
Needs to find that elusive fret less keyboard
Osmose Expressive E
