In general, your experience does not have to be the same as others. For me, this boss wasn't the most difficult, but was difficult enough. And there are bosses across the trilogy as well as Demon's Souls and Bloodborne that have been said to be easy but I struggled with them. Conversely, some bosses have been said by the community to be very difficult, and I usually do find them a challenge, but not to the extent they were made out to be. For instance, it took me more attempts to beat Abyss Watchers than Slave Knight Gael, which would be considered lunacy by the average community virgin. Yes, I say virgin because chads wouldn't take it so hard and understand it's my experience and my experience alone. Sorry, didn't mean to preach, the comment section is getting a little toxic. The important thing is, you beat him. Great job!
@@Amin_2kHow about an update? I just beat SoC in NG+. While some bosses were still challenging, almost no boss reached 20 attempts. A handful were between 10 and 20, but SoC took me 41, a big jump from NG. While Nameless King was the opposite and dipped in difficulty for me.
You'd rank soul of cinder above Gael? Gael is definitely harder, but I thought the fight itself was a lot more memorable and exciting... Although part of that might be the number of attempts I needed to beat him. Soul of cinder was beaten on my third try.

If SoC just stayed in its Pyro Curved Sword form, and purely using the Curved Sword, it'd be the hardest boss of DS games. Pyro has almost no openings, fastest moveset, no telegraphing of attacks and jumps back after each combo, leaving no time for player to counter attack.
I'm here to cleans my eyes after the bullshit 1 shot galore final boss in Elden Ring
Going back in Dark Souls 3 was a bit of a great way to take a breather, I guess.
I noticed in Phase 2 Soul of cinders attacks are very similar to that of gwyn lord of cinder except for that Soul of cinder uses lightning spears on top of that.
That was beautiful, SoC looked up at the eclipse as he was dying like "WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN MEEEEEE URGH"
That eclipse in the background... Griffith, is it you again?
I still had 8 flask, and then gwynn theme played, I stopped playing and start remembering how much I loved my dark souls marathon for the past 5 months
It's cool that SoC has Gwyn's death animation/pose: opens his arms screaming then falls on his knees looking at the sky/sun then head slumps.
Kinda cinematic when you killed him right as he was facing the dark sign.
man, you hit that transition perfectly. synced the music up and everything.
I love how the SOC is just chilling at the bonfire but the second he sees you is like” Oh there he is FINALLY”
Am i the only one that had no problems with most of the bosses in the game, but had a extremely hard time with this one? It took me 6 hours to beat him.
Great job!
@@hydroshock1853 I agree with you. Its very personal
@@hydroshock1853 He is hard indeed
I heard somewhere that soul of cinder is actual the player from DS1 if he chose to link the fire instead of becoming the dark lord.
I love how well they made the comebacks to the old games fit so well into the lore

You sure can't parry
the Feels........
Such a great fight! My favorite video game boss fight of all time actually
You'd rank soul of cinder above Gael? Gael is definitely harder, but I thought the fight itself was a lot more memorable and exciting... Although part of that might be the number of attempts I needed to beat him. Soul of cinder was beaten on my third try.

Is that the Faraam Armor?
Best looking armor in my opinion.
Didnt know it was in Dark Souls 3.
Between him and the nameless king, they are both beating the crap out of me.
Nameless was insane
Exactly the same. How are people beating this one try. I read a whole thread talking about this saying that it was basically the easiest boss of all time for them
@@jm_r245 this was far from the easiest how can they call the last boss the easiest
@@H4rxi ikr
@@H4rxi It might be because he comes right after the Twin Princes, who may be harder for some players. They were harder to me than Soul of Cinder, but not by that much. I would say he is similar to Pontiff Sulyvahn, the would-have-been final boss.

Dark souls 3 movement and parry was so fluid like water
Wish they kept that in Elden ring
I just got DS3 for my birthday from my aunt cause she knew I liked elden ring so I wonder what I’m getting myself into ….
how do you rate the game my dude?
@@Anhateronzaeck got the platinum beat slave knight got DS1 and platinumed it as well both are great games playing 2 atm DS3 has the best bosses in the franchise and DS1 best world in the franchise gotta say tho that nameless and Gael and soul of cinder put radagon and all other ER bosses to shame DS3 11/10 game
Even after you win, there is no glory, only darkness.
I see Sekiro style of boss fight. Only katana and right timing, nice work dude.
I noticed in the ending the fire is so weak
unlike in DS1 you burst into flames like a nuclear bomb.
is that suppose to say that everytime the fire is linked it grows weaker?
Boy when the Soul of Cinder got up i was really intimidated
Who else thinks Soul of Cinder would make a great guest character in a Soul Calibur game?
There actually two guys who made Artorias and an Abyss Watcher in soul calibur. U can easily find if u just search on TH-cam
@@Chico_Duarte thats a custom creation I mean the actual devs of the Soul Calibur series adding him as a playable character. Not the same thing dude.
