- I hate people like this... they have no understanding of how to achieve value with Moira. If they had their way, I'd be sitting at the back of the map behind our snipers, unable to heal our tank, and just pressing left click every time they aren't one shot.
If you want to pull off playing Moira on Havana, you're going to need to be hyper active as it's a really bad map for her.

and people wonder why I normally play with all chat and voice muted...
I turned all the chat off for good. I learned a lot from you so I carry most of the games we win, but OW players are delusional (or it's a generational thing).
Ignore their prepubescent stupidity and it will make them feel stupid for talking to a wall.
They will start to reflect upon their uncontrolled tempertantrum if you deny them a dialogue which will in turn make them perceive themselves as idiotic, even if they don’t admit it,
if you go into a discussion with them, they feel validated in their assumptions.
Try it. Just ignore, don’t even type anything 😉
PS. Makes you feel real good too, just observing their struggles. It puts you above them in more than one way and they feel that.

Though, I mostly wish that one day they buff her coal's damage cus it tickles more than anything. I know its mostly to finish off people but its not nice when an Ult, such as Moira's, does *less damage* than a *Torb hammer* !

Why I mostly really listen to my Support partner whoever I'm paired with lol
a widow main calling another hero an 'idiot hero' when their hero is 99% aim 1% swapping to sombra when things don't go as planned, no decision making needed, no cooldown management needed, positioning can be learned in 5 minutes from a youtube video showing cool spots, etc
this widow apparently doesn't even know how to press movement keys because how the hell do you get sniped by a zarya up there on havana, like MOVE, there's a health pack below and you can get a shot from down there while you're at it...

@@selfimprovementlabplus moira is also an easy hero, maybe the easiest hero to pick up if you're starting out as a support, although higher up the ranks you have to find ways to compensate for her lack of utility outside of raw numbers and survivability. Moira doesn't need aim and thus has very low dps and burst potential unless you all in with your ult and orb.
widow is a hero with a very disproportionate risk/reward ratio, if you are good at aiming congrats you hold the entire lobby hostage now, especially on havana or circuit, the only risk you may face is another widow or a highly coordinated team that can play dive. In that sense you can turn your brain off and play like an idiot, because you're basically on aimlabs now.
and what if you can't get value on widow and have to swap? oh dont worry just swap to cass, he's hitscan and actually a great pick now and works well into anything that may give you trouble as widow. Or play the other annoying purple dps hero because no one deserves to have fun except you, of course.
@@prismaticpaulThere's no way u think widow is a easy hero😂😂. Simple, yes but easy no. Having good aim is a difficult skill to have and I appreciate it even more now that I've started aim training.
Not to mention all the variables u have to keep in mind during the match, for e.x, random spam, dive etc. But to compare her to moira, damn😂😂. I'm guessing u exclusively play moira.

@selfimprovementlabplus i do agree with your notion of "simple but not easy", but I still believe that the risk/reward ratio is highly disproportionate. Hell, I'm not an aim god but just by existing as widow I force multiple swaps from my opponents, even moreso if I'm playing on a map like havana. Besides, if my team knows that a sombra or a tracer are hunting me down, they can help, overwatch isn't a 1v1 simulator. If I'm facing multiple flankers then yes, playing widow is rough but cass is also hitscan while matching flankers pretty well, so if you're good at widow you'll most likely do well on cass also.
For the record I main ana on support, and echo on dps. I do play moira sometimes, mostly when I am facing tracer/sombra and little to no help from my team so I need to stay alive or get to my team quickly for protection.

Yes, but in this case, you can watch the video and see that wasn't the case here
Elims are indeed a non-stat, but they do show activity and participation levels in a game. The enemy team had 77 deaths and in some shape or form I contributed damage to 65% of those deaths. The next highest player contributed damage in 49% of those kills.
You're not wrong though, it could technically be 1 damage per elim, but as the stats don't tell the full story, you have to also look at the bigger picture (same with all stats).
1hp or 250hp, doesnt matter a kill is a kill, thats why its important to use orb right, that 5dmg orb did is the difference in let that enemy get healed, feed ult to the sups and keep presuring or stay out of the fight for a few secs
Saw this game during your stream. That widow doesnt see how you created distraction to the enemy team by going with Zarya full front, allowing the sniper to freely shoot without the fear of getting killed. Loved the convos btw

Well, I wish I had your skill and resilience, unfortunatly I changed my playstyle due to the pressure, very much like the one portraited on your video, now I do play way more passively, behind lines, normaly I would create space, draw attention to me, 2-3 players trying to catch me, wasting their ULTs on the process, allowing my team to breath and push the objective easier and further, also targeting enemies' support so their tank stand alone against my team.
However, it is risky, if we lose the game they will be looking for a scapegoat, press TAB and Moira it is, recently I'd lost a game, 28k healing, more healing then ALL THREE other sups combined, healing alone is not enough, but I don't have time to educate them game after game, it drains me.
PS:. The Moira on the other team had 8k healing, 20k less than me, and he did said "ez" at the end.
Does the widow not understand how the game is played? If Lucio, Hanzo, and illari are all turned around fighting a Moira then they only need to kill the tank and other dps. It’s free af
Sone times not even a 4 v 2 is good enougth for some players, you give them 10 - 12 secs of free team fight and they still blame you for not healing while youre taking hits for them in the enemy backline
I’m sick of this game, Arx, mainly due to the hate Moira gets but also because of how frustrated everyone is with each other. I know OW2 wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I was probably one of the few willing to put faith into it. But I just can’t be bothered trying now for teammates who don’t understand. It’s like every day my teammates forget how to play OW and forget how certain heroes work. You legit can’t play who you like anymore; it’s just a battle in chat while the enemy team stomps us. I give up with this game. 😢 I’ll still watch and support you, but I’m so done with the OW2 community and the game. I’ve played many games with toxic communities, and the OW2 community is by far the worst, not to mention the shills that get paid to say “this game’s great” when in reality everyone is frustrated and arguing with each other. I wish I had your patience to deal with these people, but I’m so done with them, like truly.

The game has it's problems, but no one is forcing us to interact with these kinds of people. If someone was acting like an idiot in person, you wouldn't stay there and continue to engage with them. I'm usually out of voice and chat, but wanted to stay in there just to show the stream why I'm not usually there...

Dude it has been a while for me watching you videos. I had a match few days ago with 50kills, almost 18k damage and 16k healing. I need to thank you because my Moira has improved so much thanks to your suggestions and hints. I moved from being an inconclusive Moira to be an harassing and annoying Moira, chasing anything in my range. I still need to improve fade jump using objects on the field... but i am flying dude. They way i am using orbs now is so better.

I find it somehow reassuring to know that you can play support that well and at that level and STILL get idiots expecting you to healbot them. How did they get to that rank without understanding support role ≠ "healer"? Teammate widow standing nowhere near cover and gets shot in the face: Report Moira
I realise something you do a lot. You spray heal onto full health team a lot, usually after you done quite a bit of dps. Is that how you add a bit more to your heal stat 😂
You don't get healing stats unless you do actual healing. I heal full health players because it applies a heal over time effect for 3 seconds, so if they take damage in the next 3 seconds the effect will automatically start healing them instantly.

I think this video makes a good point why overwatch is at a really bad point. It's soo hard to see what other players are doing well, thats winning you the game (besides kills). We dont get good feedback from the game that we are holding a good position etc.

Also people often don't realise that self-healing is also still healing for the team's total health pool. The enemies are going to be damaging someone. I'd rather keep as much of it in my control as possible as sometimes I get teammates who position poorly and no amount of healing will keep them alive anyway.
Plus self-healing with grasp is more efficient, as not only am I healing our team's health pool (self-healing), but I'm also contributing damage. If I were just healing allies constantly, there would be no damage contribution and the enemy supports would be under less pressure, would get to be selective around when they use their big utility cooldowns, and could pick and choose priority heal targets a lot easier.
Damage is king, but obviously you need to also heal with Moira or you're not utilising a huge chunk of her kit.

Don’t think she got a lot of changes? I think it was some changes where she heals faster during ult and has a bit lower dmg per sec on right click. I find playing moira chill and often pick her in hard games
She's still good, she got a soft nerf on her dmg but still good among the sups, and also is one of the few sups that can handle the dps pasive
