This is one of the coolest devices i ever bought for guitar, i love this thing. It's especially good for a compact live looping setup, because it bypasses the need for a pedalboard
My plan is to hardwire it into a guitar so I can have built in effects. I’ve never been good at live looping but I can definitely see the advantage of this for that
Will this work with a DigiTech 2120 Artist guitar effects processor with an output connected to the input of the headphone amp so that I can practice through the headphones? Thank you
It's possible, but you might not get stereo out of it. Also, this isn't wireless so you'd have to have a headphone cable long enough. In theory, yes it should work, but logistically it's probably not the best option for that purpose.
First off thank you for replying. Ok so what do you recommend I can do? My goal is basically to be able to play that unit through headphones? I have recently got back into playing after a bad accident in 2008. So I am relearning how to play guitar again and it's not going so bad, so that's where I am and I really appreciate the time you're taking to help me out. 🎸 -Cheers
So I did a little digging and one of these mini amps might be the best option after all. Mainly because line out ports don’t usually send enough power for headphones so you need some kind of preamp to boost the signal. This will work as a preamp and has the headphone out built in. It might not be the most elegant solution but it should work and is probably one of the cheapest options. I don’t have a DigiTech 2120 to test it out so I can’t verify that it will work but it should. And even if it doesn’t, you’d still have a way to practice with headphones.
Mine comes on but there is no sound. I've tried 2 cables and 2 different pairs of headphones. I can hear it turn on and turn off. What's up am I doing something wrong?
It’s made to work with headphones. If you’re doing more than privately practicing you’ll have to run from the headphone out to an amp or PA. It’s basically an effects processor.
Hello, I am a beginner, how can I have the sound of my pc (online course, backtrack...) and the sound of my guitar, at the same time with this Valeton that i bought yesterday please?
Are you wanting to run the sound from your pc through the Valeton to practice with a backing track? You should be able to run an aux cable from your pc headphone out to the aux port on the Valeton.
I haven’t had that issue with the Valeton but I did get some static from my Donner Heavy Metal. Have you tried turning the volume on your guitar down a bit? That cut the static out for me.
@@bottleshipcaptain just a quick update I ended up getting this one, liked it alright, but then saw the LEKATO one and returned this for that. Huge improvement in versatility, less so in "legit" sound, but still a real mini powerhouse.
Yeah there is potential for that. They’re really just for practicing through headphones. This one does have some decent effects on it so I’m going to try to incorporate it into a guitar build if I ever get around to it. I’ve always liked the novelty of guitars with built in effects, even if they suck most of the time.

Found your channel randomly, very entertaining, keep up the good work man !

I was deciding between this and a Blackstar Debut 10E. I'm glad that I found your video and I'm happy with my purchase of the amplug.
I’m glad I could help! I hope it serves you well.

What's up am I doing something wrong?
Make sure the volume is up. I’d mess with the knobs and switches and make sure it’s charged. If none of that works you might have a bad unit.
So do you need another amp for this or how does it work

@@bottleshipcaptain okay and is it wired headphones or blue tooth
@chetwilson unfortunately just wired headphones. In theory you can get a Bluetooth adapter but I haven’t tried that yet.
@@bottleshipcaptain okay thank you
@chetwilson anytime 👍🏻

Great demo of the tone-sculpting this thing can do. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching!
hello captain, i wanted to know if its possible to use this as a pedal by connecting it to an amp , can u record with it too ? thx love u
Absolutely, it won’t be a pedal exactly, but you can run the headphone out to your amp, audio interface, or whatever else. That’s how I recorded it.
Can you connect it to a speaker through the aux instead of using headphones?
Yes, but not through the aux port. You can run an aux chord from the headphone out to a speaker. I hope that answers your question.
Does it support aux cable?
Yes. It has an aux in so you can play with a backing track and you can run aux out through the headphone jack.
@@bottleshipcaptain thank you.
Anytime 😎
Your voice is a mix of that dude that plays Pizza Steve from Uncle grandpa, Bane from The Dark knight, Conor mcgregor, and Jack Black
That’s quite a mix but I’ll take it 😂
Is this better than the flamma fx20
I haven’t tried the flamma fx20 so I can’t say, but I’m not at all disappointed with this unit.
It is good and great value for money, although Clean is not as clean as it could be. The ability to adjust individual tones is useful.
That seems to be a common issue with these pocket amps. It’s tricky to get a good clean tone.
Valeton Rushead Max has too much white noise. I can't control it. Any advise?
I haven’t had that issue with the Valeton but I did get some static from my Donner Heavy Metal. Have you tried turning the volume on your guitar down a bit? That cut the static out for me.
It's can also be you Amp port, may be too lose I've hade to tighten just a tad bit to lose the white noise.
Can you use headphones with these?
Absolutely, that’s mainly what they’re for. No Bluetooth though, so only wired headphones unfortunately.
Capt? Where are thee? I miss you like the desert miss the rain.
I’m surviving. Life got crazy. I have videos planned but no time to record anything. Thanks for sticking around.
Did I just watch Bain make a mini guitar amp review?
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that I’d have 2 nickels.

Cool, I haven’t tried the LEKATO so I’ll have to add it to the list.
Damn I need one
They’re pretty nifty
Tbh how do you only have 380 subs? That's crazy to me
I guess it’s a tough niche to break into. Taking a 9-month hiatus probably didn’t help either.
It's nice to see Bane gave into his guitar passion and started making reviews after his failed attempt to nuke Gotham.
That’s a new one 😂 It’s nice to see I got the attention of Commissioner Gordon.
I was thinking more along the lines akin to Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid but now I'm imagining a fusion of the two...
I never liked the idea of pocket amps. It seems like it would break the guitar jack.

Nope, bought it, tried it and sent it back. 45 bucks of disappointment.

Why?
