Beyond Modern Medicine: Why You Need to Take Charge of Your Health

  • Most of us have had our lives saved with some of modern medicine’s pharmaceuticals, such as with antibiotics, and we have also come to depend on them for their excellent care when it comes to a crisis - if we break our leg or need a hip replacement, for example.
But there are some areas where modern medicine is in need of a paradigm shift, especially when it comes to preventing and treating chronic disease.
Since the body goes through 6 stages of a disease process as it works its way towards a disease you can name, it is best to try to identify and fix the various imbalances that come and go throughout our lives, and resolve them early on so they don’t fester and blossom into a serious disease later on down the road.
We should also reserve the use of pharmaceuticals for when all other options have failed. Instead, it is best to begin treatments with the less invasive therapies and those which are not so toxic. Treating every symptom we may encounter over a lifetime with a pharmaceutical is not a good strategy, since these medications are riddled with side effects and are toxic to the liver.
This video makes a case where you can still use all the good that modern medicine has to offer: its wonderful diagnostic tools, its life-saving medicines and amazing operations, but at the same time learn how to live a healthy lifestyle, which means learning how to eat healthy, how to have a balanced daily routine and learn how to do correct Ayurvedic detox in the spring and fall.
By incorporating these necessary preventive measures and using modern medicine only when absolutely necessary, you will go a long way in preventing most of the diseases that are currently afflicting mankind.

So glad I found you and all the help you have given me. Wish more people understood this and that western medicine wasn't such a mess.I think the doctors do know and don't care, with some exceptions , and won't admit when they do harm.

You sound like you are an excellent doctor. I feel like I’ve been misled by modern medicine during my last 3 years of health issues.
