I know you're trying out 3D printing to make parabolic antennae but have you considered re-purposing one of those dishes that people stuck on their houses during the Foxtel TV "boom"? Maybe too much gain? Bit off-piste given you're targeting WiFi but I would like to see a homegrown mobile signal feed to mount in front of one of those dishes. Something to consider?

Hi James, I’d say nothing is impossible. I have tried that once and got it working but there were some challenges. I might take that same dish again and do some more videos on it

I have in mind using an unused tv dish and creating my own antenna design - a wide band 1700Mhz - 4200Mhz feed using ideas found on Andrew McNeal's channel.
Good luck with the antenna design and marketing.

Please let me know how that goes. There are a lot of unused dishes out there, and the performance could be awesome. Just need to make sure that the higher gain does not cause difficulties with the alignments :)

Hi John, yes I do remember having spoken to you in the days when RFShop were the CST representatives in ANZ before the Simulia days. It's an awesome tool. Hope all is well in Christchurch. Were you split in two during the RWC23 final ? I'm normally not a huge rugby fan, but one does get sucked into the excitement a little bit, even here in Adelaide where rugby is not that big.

Happy to connect via LinkedIN. You should be able to find my profile since there are not many David de Haaij's around :)

No, I actually bought this one direct from Prusa online store. Took a while to get here ( 8wks wait ) but now it's truly worth it !!
