Three great horses who met each other in a legendary race... at Sandown. When Cheltenham wasn’t the be all and end all. Unless all trainers and the BHA take note, this sport will die a slow agonising death.

I agree 100% it's all about Cheltenham, then the horses who've been saved all year for Cheltenham go lame just before and miss it, and we hardly see them at all.

Yeah i hate how everything seems to be about cheltenham. Through the winter you've got horses avoiding eachother because it's all about cheltenham. I was discussing with my brother about the issues with prize money and so on. I suggest trainers run their horses more. They are racehorses and should be treated as one. Do you remember a Nigel Twiston Davis horse called "Knowhere"? That was a proper horse, not the classiest but a horse who would turn up and race. If trainers ran their horses more the races would have bigger fields. Obviously a classy 3m chaser is limited in the amount of races they can target but your average horses should be running more.

You cut Languid off before he finished! Let's hope we can hear a roar something like this at Cheltenham in March, we can hope.

The best national hunt meeting in the world hosting the best steeplechasers and hurdlers in the world. I sincerely hope that the crowds will be back in March. They are the icing on the cake.
