Who is your ultimate two-mile chaser? Let us know in the comments!
Sprinter Sacre was the best by a mile no horse would have laid a glove on him at his peak. Master Minded second but he wasn't around that long, but his CC win was one of the best performances you'll ever see. Altior 3rd for me then Moscow Flyer with Edredon Bleu 5th.
Sprinter definitely the best ever.
When he beat Cue Card and 3 other top horses at Aintree over 2m 3f I think it was. Never come off the bridle. LEGEND.
Loved the Sprinter Sacre v Moscow Flyer exchange between Barry and Sir AP!
It really was terrific, highly enjoyable
I saw Sprinter for the first time, in the flesh, in the Parade Ring at Sandown Park, when he beat Sanctuaire. The one and only time I have been mesmerised by a horse just walking around.
He was a real beauty. A perfect specimen of the breed. As you say, close up he was like a Rembrandt masterpiece.
For me I think Moscow flyer because if he didn't fell he won
I liked Tingle Creek and I know you younger ones have probably seen Crisp get caught by Red Rum in the G/National
but he was great at 2M with his catch me if you can tactics...Same with Tingle but he couldn't act at Cheltenham.
I remember Ruby and Paul saying they thought there was something up with Kauto when he struggled to match Master Minded on the gallops
but it just showed how good M/M was at his best.
Got to love Barry's loyalty to Moscow Flyer
Excellent. Would have been interesting to get either Dunwoody or Maguire's take on those 1990s array of top 2 milers.
Honourable mention for One Man- can just imagine if the QMC was his March target each season. But when you win 2 King George...
Moscow Flyer for me he beat Istabraq over hurdles started watching racing in early 90s some great 2 milers Remittance Man Katabatic Waterloo Boy Viking Flagship Deep Sensation Martha's Son also would give Barnbrook Again a mention
Kates list is absolutely accurate. Nick is a v good presenter but on all these things he has some v odd takes. Altior last?!!
Sprinter sacaré with a bit to spare
Sprinter Sacre from Badsworth Boy
Somersby, absolute legend.
Moscow Flyer, top hurdler, and chaser
Sprinter Sacre didn’t stay sound long enough.
Altior
Master Minded
Edredon Bleu
Altior was the only one who would have won a Champion Hurdle
On his day Remittance Man ,offcourse Barry Would be the best on a 2mile chaser
Kauto star was prob best ever even at 2m, what a horse.
If moscow stays up it wins simple as that
Great to see Kate Tracey building her journalist career by agreeing with everyone so insightful and giggling like a little girl, simply sending women back thousand years. good to see Steve McLaren on the show his fringe must start at the back of his neck, clearly heavy smoking causes your hair to fall out and give you a rotten breath.
Well got to agree with the older boys ask bryony 👀
Joe all you do is slag her off at every channel!! You got nothing good to say then shut ur mouth you virgin!
Altior 2nd? LMAO. Shouldn't even be in the conversation let alone 2nd.
Course he should look at what he achieved he deserves to be mentioned among the best.
Clueless 😂😂😂
@@goodbyebluesky43 Beat shite .......unimpressively.
@@rawheadrex8487 Just shows how clueless you are. 19 wins on the bounce what he beat is irrelevant you can only beat what's infront of you. One of the all time great 2m horses stats make facts. He's one of the best. End of chat.
@@goodbyebluesky43 I beat my asthmatic granddad 30 times in a row by 1/10th of a second at 100m sprints. I must be in the conversation wutth Usain Bolt, right?!
