@@quansolo5812 Anyone would react the same way after getting sucker punched by a coward, because no one would ever expect to be slapped in the face when hosting the Oscars. Your brain doesn’t even have time to process what’s going on. I love how you act like the host of the OSCARS should’ve just been able to process that he was sucker punched AND then run after Smith and start a fight on national television. I swear, some of you goofies have the IQ of a walnut. Chris Rock reacted how anyone would’ve reacted…..which was pure shock.

It was all staged. It was easy to see as well.
If it wasn't staged we'd av seen many different angles of it (at least 2 or 3).
W.Smith looked for acknowledgement (with grin on his face) after the 'slap' to know if it looked real, if he got the👎instead of👍he'd have laughed and it would have been reported as "scripted, for entertainment" but the👍told him he'd got away with it (it looked realistic) so carried on acting his part. He even laughed at the joke prior while Jada acted/played the victim.
Maybe designed to get feedback on how us the public react to this kind of BS, are we easily persuaded on what to believe. Do we conform to what everyone around us does/believes just for an easier life; all done subconsciously.
Most of us conform, its a fact, sad but true.
There's been real experiments done to see how easily led us humans are, will we simply conform to what everyone around us does. It was proved that most ppl DO just follow whatever the 'norm' is that happens around us.

I still can't wrap my head around this whole situation. Chris Rock is a comedian lol- he was hired to present at the Oscars because they knew that he would make everything livelier and upbeat (which he did very well). Everything was going smoothly and then Will just suddenly lost his cool over a joke...he was even laughing before he decided to slap the poor guy!....like wtf. I noticed Jada didn't like the joke very much, but the joke was witty and seemed like a complement- y'know what I mean? G.I Jane is a badass character, where's the wrong? I know she has Alopecia (which causes hair loss), but how does Will and Jada know that Chris knows that? I just learned recently myself and I really don't think he was making fun of her for having Alopecia- like he said, "it was a G.I Jane joke". I just feel bad for Chris and good for him for keeping his cool. He seriously deserves an apology, that was just ridiculous.

Violence on live TV is never acceptable. Cursing out loud while kids are watching all over the world at the Oscars?? They are both comics, Chris said "Jada I love you" before he made the joke just to let her know there was no malicious intent. Chris won the award for composure last night and keeping the show in tact in the moment. I'm all for Chris more than ever. Book him for more work now please.

I'm really impressed too! Hell, someone slaps you on stage after you're making everyone feel good with a bunch of jokes and he was neither shaken or stirred! He just acknowledged it and got back on the horse like giddy up! That is quite a feat! I don't think most people would've handled that whole incident as well as he did. His inner core is like steel! Great bouncing back, Chris Rock! That is definitely something to learn from. And for the record, I don't think most people knew about Jada Pinkett-Smith. Unless you follow her twitter feed or wherever she posted it, you're not gonna know.
