    Damn as you all know, this guy eats, breathes, sleeps rinse and repeats CAMBER. The amount of knowledge FDF has on this subject is extremely impressive. So basically what I’m saying is don’t hesitate to purchase their products!!

    Would love to see your take on drift alignment setup/settings for low HP drift cars around the 100hp-200hp levels. And if a certain alignment spec could help to compensate for low HP.

    running -4.5 camber on my SC400 achieves 0 camber at full lock with the mantis kit, it's crazy the difference in grip at angle.

    I feel like RC drifters have more knowledge of suspension setup than most irl drift guys. Love this technical stuff.

    Good video! Typo on the slides as it says king pin access not king pin axis.

    Thank you for explaining how to aligm a drift car. Now I have a better understanding. Maybe you can show how to do it on the track because I always used a machine and stuck to manufacturers spec

    Itd be cool If you could develop something to help the rear camber in fcs even though it's probably to small of a market. Whiteline do an eccentric bush for the rear hub but they are a pain in the booty to adjust.

    It's gonna be so helpful to open this subject- how does a large KPI angle and a small scrub radius affect steering, and how does a small KPI angle with a large scrub radius affect steering?.. when u set KPI very low the scrub become large... does this bad in steering?

    Saw the SIM rig in the background, would love to know how that plays a role in development if at all :)

    What tools/methods/tricks do you use to measure your alignment?

  • @cichandler833

    So you talked about what the benefits are of having alot of front camber. However, how does one measure or know if their contact patch is flat while driving? Would it be like, "I have a lot of grip at full lock, as in the no matter how little of an adjustment you make with the steering, it will move the front end?" Or will having a flat contact patch casue transitions to be more predictable and snappy?

    Doesn’t adjusting camber at the track throw off your toe settings?

  • @GainedSpeedxs2
    @GainedSpeedxs2 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    When you adjust your camber at the track do you dial back in your toe or only do camber and leave to alone?

    could you just fast list what negatives are not having camber but in case of a driver feeling? Having few good working front setups I'm trying now to reach good feeling in my "daily" 46 making as less changes as I can :) So even no adapter blocks etc. I have a feeling, that even with good (better) caster and bit more angle (rack spacers) front is still twitchy and bit unpredictable on transissions. Leading wheel without static camber (stock) is staying too much on the edge causing too less contact patch?

    Wish my FDF kit would get down to -4 camber... 😂
