- We finally nailed the guys from S-Klub to shoot with us and had a great time! They have a few more we look forward to shooting but this episode shows their stunning Porsche 550 Spyder which was completed just in time to make some serious noise at SEMA 2019. They have such a unique style to their builds with no limitations on creativity and execution.

550 Spyder with modern Subaru in the back... Awesome. (as you can imagine, I'm no purist) And sound... REAL car. No airbag, no gimmicks. (probably not much electronics too) Thumbs up.

I don't personally care for the "jewlrey" effects and cost but I LOVE this Go Cart build otherwise! I lust after a "non jewlrey" build just built for driving! I would not even care if the paint was flat....Also given the lack of weight I would be happier with NA South of 300hp.....who cares it would still be a total hoot to own and drive!

Crazy the time frame of this
Started looking at basic Beck 550 at Heidi & Frannies thinking I'd love to build that out properly and TH-cam algorithm led me here...OMG I love the levels SEMA allows people to build out their cars to such a fantastic degree. This one is a showstopper. Well done.✨

It should have a roll bar in it, and you should be really wearing goggles and crash helmet. Plus, mild steel tubing frame, what is up with that with 350 HP? Chromoly is not that expensive.

@@172-e5s where did you get this information from? According to most articles, Dean had just had dinner and a coke.
@@wowsplat I was doing some research on the accident and came upon a video that stated that he and another carload of friends had been doing what you might call a pub crawl just prior to the crash. Apparently they did have dinner as well but there was definitely alcohol involved. I'll try to find the video for you and let you know. Kinda makes sense to me...
I read a long time ago that the black sedan was found to be at fault. One of us has the fake news, I guess 😀
@@172-e5s A long time ago I read up on the James Dean fatal crash. Dean was driving along a straight road when the oncoming car, a black sedan, suddenly turned across him. Drunk or sober, he simply had no time or chance to react, that oncoming car wiped him out. The black sedan driver was at fault.

Love those small, nimble sport cars! Altough I loved the colors, wheels and quality build, how great that one would be with a carbon fiber body and a Porsche NA engine, even a Boxster unit or a rebuild water cooled one for tradition sake? Perfection! Great 2020 Shawn!

A J C Sr Love Subarus! But SEMA is not about cheap, it’s quite the opposite. But for the a average project car, the engine of choice makes a lot of sense.

I've been holding out and hoping all year for a vintage drag car to be featured.. '33 Willy's, '41 Willy's, Cobra Jet Mustang, A990 Dodge Coronet, 1962 Max Wedge powered Dodge Dart, Super Duty Pontiac Tempest (swiss cheese car), 409 powered Chevy Impala, Ford Thunderbolt, etc.. here's to seeing one of these featured on this channel in 2020!!
