i lived on King's Hwy when I was a kid...late 60's. My dad would drop us off at the theater down town for a matinee and then we would go next door to the Woolworth's for an ice cream at the counter. ❤

I feel blessed to have just made the tail end of the soda fountain era… in the 90’s too… must have been quite rare even then.
