I couldn't afford either, so I built my own electric-12 a while ago 😎👍 In a proper studio it obviously can't compete with a good acoustic 12, but in my homestudio I love to doubletrack my acoustic (via microphone) with the electric (via a clean tube preamp) - this brings out that specific shimmer even more!
