    Random Post - I live near Savannah Ga ( Tons of History ) - The "Squares" are historic, but I never have paid much attention to them ( more of a driving nuisance ) until my parents came to visit and we took a "Trolley Tour" - Learned more about this town in those few hours than I have since moving here 14 years ago. As for the Rotifers, we re just now getting things set up for breeding a few variants of Clowns - this video was very informative and the "one stop shop" to get everything has made my stress level drop :)

    Hey Remy, looking forward to seeing how the clownfish breeding goes. And as for landmarks, I live in Buffalo and Niagara Falls is about 15 minutes away. Gone by it countless number of times and don't think about it very much. Over the years with friends and family coming to town for a visit and making the obligatory trip the see the Falls it definitely looses its grandeur after a while. It is an amazing experience, especially if you take the Maid of the Mist boat ride at the bottom of the Falls, it brings you right up to the cascading water. If you ever find yourself driving through the area, its definitely something to experience even though the locals take it for granted. I say driving through though because after watching it for about 20 or 30 minutes, there is nothing else in Niagara Falls USA to keep ya there. Now on the Canadian side, Niagara Falls Canada is like their Las Vegas. Their entertainment beyond the actual Falls is abundant, if they ever let us back over to visit.

Just keep doing what your doing and tweaking a bit and you'll go from 1 fish alive to 3 to 6 to 8 to eventually being able to keep like 80% of them. The variations are going to be cool too. You'll get some that are mis-colored, maybe some that have more mocha, some that might barely have any white. It's going to be a fun experience.

      @@BahamaLlamaCoral You can also use a large airstone on the siphon. One of those big round ones (golf ball size) works great keeping fry in the tank.
      A second clay pot is useful. Swap it out when you pull the eggs. That way the parents aren't too upset when the egg 'cave' goes.

    Hello, I’m 13 years old and from Bangladesh 🇧🇩. I’m planning to start a 120 gallon mixed reef tank next year. Can u tell me what would be a good fish and invert stocking? (clownfishes, nassarius snails, trochus snails and red fire shrimp are a must obviously 🙄) Pls. I am asking you now as I want to finish all of my proper research in the fishes before getting them as I want to give the, a good home. And one more thing, can I use 6,000 Kelvin led flood light (white) for my refugium? Ik this comment is too big and I’m sorry for that. But any reply would be of great help for me.

    You need a circular tank to raise fry. Trust me, I’ve tried. If square and not hooked up with a dedicyed sump you won’t get the fry pat day or two . Use a smal black feed tub. Design your own low down mini tank.

    Don't buy rotifers until your clown lay eggs and then buy them for the next time they lay. You don't want to try keeping a rotifer culture going for months. Rotifers are probably harder to keep alive long term than clownfish larvae

    • @BahamaLlamaCoral
      @BahamaLlamaCoral  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where were you 2 months ago? lol. Kidding! Yes, I totally agree with this. Just make sure you have a place that has them readily available. I fully back this after keeping rots for a month or two before eggs.
