  • We travelled to New York for the Grand Turismo World Tour to race against one of the greatest F1 drivers to never win a title, Juan Pablo Montoya.
This man has had some pretty eventful team radio moments, so we thought we'd also test his memory with a little team radio quiz. Oh deer...

Senna was better than Schumi. Don’t forget that although his Williams has problems in 1994, he managed to outqualify Schumi. I would say that Schumi was better than Montoya though.
It was a shame that Montoya left F1, as I did quite like him. He made it interesting. He also did some daring moves.

Actually he once spoke to Colombian TV and said that the reason why he hated press is bc they never ask good questions, they just want to dig into the drivers nerves and try to get the best headline instead of the actual information. In Spanish we call it "prensa amarilla" and is like what recently happened to Norris, he was recently asked "If Checo wasn't Max's partner, who do you think would be a good partner/rival for him" Lando mentioned some names like Lewis, Alonso, Charles and so. But the Spanish media turned his words around as if he was saying Checo is a bad partner for Max and as if he hated Checo. So yeah I think that's the reason that Montoya was so blunt about his rejection to press and media and why he says that he likes Max's personality bc he is also very blunt too

Jacques Villeneve and Juan Montoya are my favourite drivers of the last 30 years, both won Indy before F1, Juan won Indy twice Jacques got the F1 title...both speak their mind almost to a fault, sometimes against each other....both gave up on F1 and switched to Nascar for the same reasons....the kind of guys you could have a beer or 10 with and have to break up a fight before the night is over.

They are real racers. Can drive anything fast. Only awful politics in F1 and some poor decisions that stopped them from dominating the world. Even Montoya at 40 won the ROC against the then current F1 drivers. So much natural talent its ridiculous
