You still use the AK? as soon as I got into backwater and did the side quest for the barkeep I kept the sniper modified AR416. Has excellent penetration and damage.
The ak can be easily modified due to the common modifications you can find around the zone. Once upgraded it can be used very effectively as a sniper or ar

I run the sniper modified AR with the 50 bullet magazine and 2 headshots or a single with AP rounds for exo suit guys on veteran. I am a hoarder so I have around 1400 rounds of AP. Only used them in the main quests when I know things get real :).
So I just beat the game last night on my first play through, as soon as you said, there would be a traitor at wild Island I laughed. Bro, I carried so much shit out of there, and it took me so long to get to a vendor, I almost lost my mind.
The lack of cheeki breeki from the bandits makes me sad

@@FeistyST it was actually insane. they give you SO MUCH gear at SIIRCA and dont get you anywhere close to a trader for hours after that
