4:48 mission failed why ?

I locked my fps to 60. It helps with the frame dips. I am playing on an RTX 3080, i5 12600k and 32gb ddr4. I get around 50 to 55 fps in settlements. Without fps locked I get around 75 to 85 out in the zone. My monitor is 1440p but I use DLDSR in the Nvidia to force 4k with mostly Epic settings. Then I use DLSS set to quality in game. On a 1440p screen it actually looks really good.

That big anomaly is portal to a stash and it’s kinda decent stash. I believe I was caught up in emission after that.

So I just beat the game last night on my first play through, as soon as you said, there would be a traitor at wild Island I laughed. Bro, I carried so much shit out of there, and it took me so long to get to a vendor, I almost lost my mind.

You still use the AK? as soon as I got into backwater and did the side quest for the barkeep I kept the sniper modified AR416. Has excellent penetration and damage.

This is the game's Blight town. I love how awful it is, really makes you feel like you're knee deep in a dank swamp 😂

After the first psi antenna in the church i sniped all the others while being undetected. Then ran like hell from the Chimera

I hated the swamp mission with a passion. Almost quit the game for good lol.

Mouse lag and x-y axis sensitivity differences make the game unplayable. I thought trying to play with a controller was bad when I first attempted to play a FPS on a console... but how the mouse works in Stalker 2... is actually worse than trying to use a controller. Apparently it's all done by default within UE5 as they have tried to gimp m/kb users to allow controller users to compete with them in MP. But there is no MP in Stalker 2 yet. Plus there's not a mouse/kb gamer who will bow to that agenda of gimping their ability to play. I'm not even sure if the additional lines you can add to the input.ini work to remove all the hurdles they've used to hamper the mouses function.

Same here ive been enjoying stalker 2 to me it has the same vibe as the older games. It needs some work but im almost through my first playthrough at 90 hours in. My favorite part are some of the anomalies i wont spoil anything cause youre about midgame but some of them are like something straight out of roadside picnic. Btw controllers do a melee attack if you're really close which can give you a chance to dump the spas on them.

Just explored and completed the swamp/clear sky part of the game and although it was frustrating at times I really enjoyed it. I took it slow and was methodical in my gameplay letting the mutants/zombies duke it out and it payed off in both combat effectiveness and immersion. The chimera during the scripted emission was irritating but once I figured out that I needed to just run to the objective I became immersed once again. In the end I walked out with some pretty decent additions to my arsenal of loot but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have to fight like hell for it.

I am confused about UE5 games updates too... Like instead of having an installer rewrite portions that were changed in the files, it basically redownloads every file that was altered. Efficiency be damned... At very least area design makes it so you can see landmarks from some distance away, like church, several towers or huts, other structures around the swamp.

The swamp is a nightmare.

Lol - I heard the chimera and knew, just knew what that sound had to be. I split. Never once saw it. Hopped through a lot of water, and chugged so many energy drinks. What a terrifying scripted event.

The "patch" doesn't have 120gb, but for PC it weirdly has to reinstall some parts of the game again, that's why it's so big

Oh yes, the swamps suck hard. You dont see shit in any direction while the AI has x-ray just as night vision.

Don't shoot full auto , don't use GL close , mutant=shotgun , human=bullets , heavy human=hight perforation bullets......

You don't know how to play this game , it's obvious.

I'm actually liking the game the learning curve was steep but after 40 hours I'm hooked

Controller is bad, yes, but, my opinion.. The Burer is worse than the Controller.. I hate those little stompy psionic-wizard bastards..

Thank god you don't meet controllers very often, but if he has a line of sight he's a bastard to deal with, either plenty of Nades or try to just peek a bit of him and lots of shots... some poor stalkers even try to run up and knife him to death.

I would be most interested in quest breaking fixes. The UE5 performance isnt magically imrove over night and most balancing issues can be configured with mods to my liking. If I update most mods will probably break...

Deleted it on Xbox can't even select weapons

lol had the same thing Yesterday. The Steam Vesion seams to worke bettter and better. I have a 4070 an 32Ram i7 13700 and had insane fps drops betwen 90 and 40 fps. Now i can play Stabel 90 to110

I also went from xbox gamepass version to another one, the GoG version. Also runs a lot better xD.

UNISG skeleton is litterally the best and the rarest exo in gamma, the scar was a limited edition as well, modified its the perfect balance beetween snipe and AR. TWo luck loots but UNISG and monolith are top notch for quality loots.

Your FPS clearly indicates that problem isn't GPU but weak CPU. Stalker 2 is very CPU heavy game.
