Extra glad they rescheduled this shoot! It wouldve come out months ago but when they had first tried doing it, there was someone positive with covid from their main team. (Im not sure it was ever confirmed but I think it was when Miles had it). Ned had to make the tough call because they wouldve had to skip the training day to get rapid tests done, but they needed the training to do the difficult stuff the next day, so they had to call it off. @@ThatBlackPiano yeah and on the podcast, Keith said he straight up refused to do it because of his intense fear of heights. Keith has pushed his limits before with the hang gliding video and that was enough for him. I think all of the fans are grateful for whatever they attempt to do :)
He views Ariel as an object; a necessary addition to further appearances of what he views a respectable life… Nothing more nothing less. And she will stick by him, so as not to disrupt the status quo.
One thing I really appreciate about Ned is whenever he's pushed outside his comfort zone he's nervous but always just says fuck it and does it anyway. Edit: yeah I've heard about it. Super disappointing. "Doing it anyway" should never be with a goddamn employee. There is no conclusive proof yet but Ned is looking *bad*. Edit2: well he's no longer with the try guys. What a twat.
After he told the story about the Statue of Liberty panic attack, I was worried about him having a panic attack on the way down and hoped there was someone nearby in the pool just in case.
Ned and Eugene had always been the achievers and competitive people in the group. To see them go through failures and fears, and then succeeding, it’s just so wholesome. 💗

It’s great because they’re usually the more physically competitive ones too! Definitely showed their vulnerable sides even though “Eugene is good at everything” and “Ned loves bad ideas”, which is a great reminder they are both through and through TRY guys , willing to try 👏🏽
@@adriennelovesbatman I totally agree. We don’t usually see them as nervous and unsure of themselves. It was nice seeing them be vulnerable and not always the best at everything. They really did awesome in the end! It was inspiring ☺️

That's honestly what breaks my heart the most... because this video... it looks like Eugene doesn't know a thing and still completely trusts him as a friend and career partner.... seeing their announcement and then watching this... its just heartwrenching to see that kind of betrayal of trust....
As a queer person, there is actually nothing more amazing than seeing two incredibly accomplished queer people wholeheartedly enjoy the comfort and safety of each other's company on that 10 metre, the song, the joy, the queerness of it almost made me tear up, even as I laughed my ass off. Ned laying on the 10 meter platform and peeking his head over was a whole vibe. I’m so impressed that everyone jumped!! Edit: Oh. My. God. Before now, the most likes I’ve ever received was like 300..thank you!💕💕

The bubbler system in the pool to break tension is genius!! I always wondered how people practiced crazy complicated dives without breaking their hands/wrists/feet/face. Great episode guys 👌
The whole dry dive/bubbler system was absolutely a revelation. I’m a former swimmer and always watched both Olympic swim and dive and I wondered how they were so brave! I wonder how old the bubbler system is to high diving

*Ned trying to do back flips* "Just commit to it. Commit to it as hard as you can" *Does back flip and everyone cheers because that's the only thing he's ever committed to*
It shouldn't be weird to you, because even as an achiever, you be at your worse as well as your best. But the most important thing you have to do it keep trying. Everyone has struggles, even professionals have struggles, and everybody deal with struggles differently. So if Ned afraid of heights, at least he does his best to overcome his fear. And even when Eugene is scared, he still find a way to overcome his fear. It facing challenges and not giving up.
seeing ned overcome his fears like that and hearing everyone cheer him on made me so happy and emotional! i have a very similar fear of heights and was internally freaking out watching them jump. eugene is also especially hilarious in this video, well done Try Guys and Try Friends. *CLAMS! Kaylin and Ryan did super good. Everyone did tbh. Also Max was a really supportive and great instructor for a group of first timers. Loved this one! ❤️ 💖 ♥️
And used to be afraid of dogs. And still is afraid of birds. And... actually he was afraid of a lot of things? Not that that's bad, it's good to overcome fears.
I think it's just as scary because it's something that could go wrong so quickly due to you not being confident in your diving. It's similar to when people jump from high places or house roof tops into the backyard pool. There are so many people who second guess themselves, don't commit to the jump and end up breaking their back or legs.
We went rappelling in the eight grade and I just noped right out. No amount of cajoling or peer pressure could convince me to do that. Fifteen years later I went with my husband and FIL and they were so calm and patient and proud of me for even trying that I managed to do it, and it was fun! Still wouldn’t have gone with my classmates though.
same. my fear of heights is bad enough that I'm not even comfortable leaning on the railing on my back deck. I'm not sure I could go through with any of the higher dives at all.

It’s weird to see Eugene and ned not be the best and I love this
It shouldn't be weird to you, because even as an achiever, you be at your worse as well as your best.

Ned's greatest fear is falling from great heights. How ironic.
This video was literally foreshadowing
And used to be afraid of dogs. And still is afraid of birds. And... actually he was afraid of a lot of things? Not that that's bad, it's good to overcome fears.
I feel bad for Ned but I also know I'd be exactly like Ned in this scenario. Actually no, I would legitimately cry on the higher dives.
