@rustymyles an a in korean without any other vowels makes an ah sound! If it was said the way English native speakers think when reading it would be spelled Yaeng 😊 It's not actually Lee, either, if the name is referencing a family name and not just the English name Lee (as in Pace or Harvey Oswald). It's technically just an i if you're translating directly which does take an ee sound, but, ya know, English speakers historically aren't real respectful about saying people's names correctly. Or the names of their countries. Or respecting their culture, history, or borders! So they become Lee and "Yayng" 🙃

When in previous lie detector videos he had answered "no". I'm so soft, Keith did day that time "we gotta be better about that" and look at them now :') i love their friendship so much, I am so happy of the progress of Eugene knowing he's loved and cared for 💜

This video is bittersweet. Sweet especially at those times when Zach and Keith kept asking if any characters that are on Eugene's book/movie are based off them lol. Sad because I'm gonna miss these three together, so much.

What makes me saddest is not that Eugene is leaving the Try Guys, it’s that he says he plans to be working behind the scenes not on camera in the future. He is so amazing on camera. I wish him well in everything he does in the future. I’m sure it will be amazing, but I will miss his incredible talent onscreen.
Right? I'm not breaking any new grounds here, but as a queer person who's also kind of an introvert and not from the mainstream western countries I've felt so seen every time he was on screen and it was amazing for me that he made it big in the industry. I will miss that even though Johnny does fill a similar niche a little bit and I do like him a lot as well.

He may in the future! But he's always had such big, beautiful vision in his work - and he's such a perfectionist, I bet acting would wear him out worse than The Try Guys if he was trying to do his own projects as well as performing. He's so hard on himself, it would be really hard I imagine

This showed why lie detectors are not allowed in court. There were answers we knew the detector got it wrong. One of them pointed out "every time I laugh". I noticed it came up with "lie" every time due to this.
some of them are also very well timed comedically so i'm sure he sometimes changes whether it's a lie or not for the bit
I'm honestly surprised they did this, since many pages have already admitted that it's all a bit. You just tap his foot whenever you want him to say it's a lie. I guess it's still entertaining 🤷♀️

this guy (john) is just 100% known as an entertainer. Going so far as to faking result for content. You can find several commentary channels going over it
yeah, bc it doesnt detect lies, it detects behaviors associated with lying. Like, increased heart rate, sweating, etc. You could do all of that for a number of reasons while telling the truth and the polygraph person would say it's a lie. I think better wording would be "this person shows signs of lying" but thats not as fun

I’m not someone who normally comments and I realize the Guys will probably never see this, but especially with Eugene leaving, I do want to say what an impact these guys have had. I sometimes think they don’t realize what a truly monumental impact they have had as “just TH-camrs”.
I’m of course thrilled for them in pursuing other endeavors. I’m excited to see them find fulfillment in other projects and achieve their dreams. I also know that I would not be where I am, pursuing my dreams, if it weren’t for this group of “just TH-camrs.” Not only were the Try Guys a staple of my adolescence, but they have been integral to my adulthood. The new channel launched at a time when my mental health was at its worst, and it brought me the bits of fun and community that I desperately needed in a time when I felt alone. Years later, these guys (and the Try Wives, of course) have helped me through break ups, eating disorder recovery, and continue to be a beacon of joy on days when I’m feeling overwhelmed by adulting. The impact they have had on my life is indescribable, and I know I’m not the only one. The Try Guys have shaped a generation. So while I hope they fulfill every dream they have, I also hope they can be proud of forever being known as a Try Guy.
How has it taken me until the last lie detector video to realize that John shares my maiden name?
